    We had a wonderful time at the Charthouse. Food was excellent and the staff very courteous and knowledgeable. And the view, of course, is stunning.

    We went to Chart House for birthday dinner. We were seated in lower dining area that I didn't even know existed. It was pretty quiet down there. The view was still excellent. The dinner service was okay. The server was very polite and courteous when he took our order but he did not deliver our food and forgot that we had ordered the Chocolate Lava Cake (which requires 30 minutes) when we had placed our dinner order. When he returned with our dessert no one had cleared our dinner plates and so he was handing our dessert plates to us and we had one hand in the air with a dessert plate while were using our other hand to remove our dinner plates to make room. I'm sorry, I just thought this was ridiculous. It's not rocket science to remove the dinner plates prior to serving dessert. The food was good/okay. The crab cake and ahi tuna to start was excellent. The Caesar Salad was very mediocre and unimpressive. The Salmon was cooked perfectly but was under seasoned. The hash it came with was disappointing and was left uneaten. The Halibut Del Mar was also under seasoned but was enjoyed. The Filet Mignon was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Nothing was terrible, but none of the entrees were impressive. Serving garlic mashed potatoes as a side with nearly every entree is uninspired. The valet guys were super duper friendly and did a great job. The hostess was also very friendly and efficient. We haven't eaten here in years, well before COVID. A lot of restaurants suffered and didn't survive the pandemic and it's nice to see that Chart House was able to come through. We might try it again in the future, but it will be awhile before we give it another try.

    We ordered the $55 course meal, which included lobster bisque, a 10oz prime rib, and a mini lava cake, while my partner had the Cantonese seabass. The ambiance varies depending on your seating (near windows, center aisle, or booth), but overall it’s quite nice. The bread basket is unlimited, and the customer service is excellent. The prices are on the higher end, with food quality around 3.5 to 4 out of 5. On our first visit, we had the seabass as part of a Valentine’s Day 3-course meal, and it was delicious. However, this time, the Cantonese seabass was less impressive; the sauce was too strong, and the finely chopped vegetables lacked distinct flavors. The prime rib I received was decent, wished it had a bit more flavoring. Overall, this is a good place for a date, thanks to the pleasant view and great service. But if you're looking for better value and food quality, there are other restaurants with similar menus at better prices. For those set on dining here, a tip to save some money: buy the Landry’s gift card at Costco—you’ll pay $80 for two $50 gift cards. You're welcome!

    The Chart House has always been a great place for views and last night was one of the best. We were lucky to get a front window seat for our 45th wedding anniversary dinner. As always, the food and service were great. We had a new server Daniel who did a wonderful job taking care of us.

    Great service, excellent steak, halibut and salmon. A terrific place to celebrate our 53 wedding anniversary.

    Chart House is a top notch place to go to eat and have special time with your family, loved one or friends. View, of course is ashtonishing and white table clothes give an elegant touch. The staff is very friendly, like welcoming family members from the door to the table and back. Valet parking makes it effortless to come and go.

    This was our first time to the Chart House. The food was great and the view was amazing. My husband ordered the halibut and I had the filet mignon. We loved our dining experience and we will definitely be back.
