Absolutely fabulous. Great service. Really pleasant wait staff. Great ambiance. Good delicious. Very big tapas servings. We ordered too much. Highly recommend

The music was the same doof doof beat right through, great for sitting in a group sharing but if it is about having a sit down meal, awful noise! Given a share plate but no individual plates to serve food on to. Food was actually quite nice and good value. I do not think I will be back though

What an experience! As a lover of the 50s and 60s, Charlie's Rooftop feels like I've been transported to another time! Stunning attention to detail throughout the venue with accents reminiscent of days of old, and food and beverages that are out of this world! I visited last night with some work friends, and we all agreed that it's one of the best places we've been! Very exited to return!

What a gorgeous place to have out ladies king lunch at! We had the best time at Charlie’s Rooftop Bar, delicious cocktails and food and such a great vibe!

We booked online for 3 people and were sat at a tiny table not even enough for 2 adults DJ at 6pm was way too loud . We actually asked to be moved no service so we got up and left and nobody even came near us

Great little bar with plenty of seating. Food choices pretty good, good range of pub classics and Asian cuisine. Really quiet when we went at lunchtime, food came hot and quick. Only downfall, we kindly requested a booth, and was placed in 2 tables that weren't booths, so we just moved to an unreserved booth? 9/10, good aesthetic, good food, quick. 🫶

Probably the best tacos I’ve had in Newcastle! Both cocktails we had were delicious and the bar itself is gorgeous. A very fun addition to Newcastle nightlife.

The food was almost very good, we had a chilli squid dish that had no chilli/heat at all, but was delicious. Was not happy paying moderate restaurant prices, to have to place my order for both food and drinks at the bar. The restaurant is supposedly based off mid century Palm Springs, the decor confirmed this, but the music was very loud and orientated at a very young audience. I know now that I am not the target audience, and as such will not be returning.

Staff were rude, unhelpful and ridiculous stuck up!! Venue is advertised as a nice spot for food and drinks on a rooftop bar. Instead it’s a raging nightclub where everyone pushes you at 6pm and the music is so loud you can barely think. We booked for dinner at 6pm and left the venue at 6.30. Very disappointing
