Le Charley's Steak House, établi en Floride depuis 1974, est la propriété de la famille Woodsby. Le Charley's ne sert que du boeuf Angus reconnu de qualité USDA et provenant d'un animal ayant maximum 3 ans. La viande est vieillie de 4 à 6 semaines pour obtenir le plus de tendresse et de saveur possibles. Les steaks sont coupés le jour même à la main afin de toujours offrir la meilleure qualité. Ils sont ensuite grillés dans une âtre faite sur mesure à la flamme provenant de bois de chêne et d'agrumes de la Floride, à une chaleur de près de 650ºC. C'est ce qui donne le goût si délicieux qui a fait du Charley’s le steakhouse numéro 1 en Amérique chaque année depuis 2007 ! La philosophie du Charley’s est de ne fournir que le meilleur, de la cuisine à la cave à vins. La carte des vins propose près de 1000 choix de vins différents, dont des centaines provenant de certains des vignobles les plus exceptionnels du monde entier. This was an amazing experience. I truly only have a couple complaints. 1) it is EXTREMELY too cold in the dining room. It’s like a meat freezer! Please make the dining experience comfortable in temperature. It sort of ruined the experience for me. 2) The salad was not of the same caliber of the rest of the meal. Left a weird after taste. It was the only thing I left on the plate. The rest of the meal, the service, everything was top tier! We will return but please turn off the NORTH POLE in the dining area. 😊

We always love coming to Charley's. They took great care of us during our recent visit for an anniversary dinner. We received a private room and great attention and help from our server. The food was amazing as usual as well as the craft cocktails.

The bar service was great but the kitchen was slow. It took 45 minutes from the time we ordered one fried shrimp entree for it to be to be served.it was late and not that crowded.

Everything about our trip to Charley's was top-notch, from food selection, preparation, recommendations, and wine pairings. The only hiccup was "timeliness." It wasn't slow by any means - our staff was so attentive, that by the time we settled in and got our drinks, food items were close to coming out and we both commented it felt like we didn't have any time to relax and enjoy the opportunity to be out on a special occasion together. As the customer, I should have spoken up and said "doing great, but if we need you, we'll call for you." Conversely, at this high-end of restaurant, I ought not need to.

Charley’s continues to be a favorite! The food is always superior, as is the service. Took a client there for dinner (her first time there), and she loved it!

Pros - Great classic steakhouse; good wine selection, good service. Cons - hate the point of sale system with credit cards. REALLY HATE when they ask you to donate to some cause while you're paying the bill. Cheesy for a 5 star restaurant to have. Other than that I'll be back.

I have been to Charley’s steakhouse more than a few times. For the specific visit, we were celebrating a birthday. Each of us ordered a ribeye. Mine was the 28 day aged ribeye, and my dining buddy, ordered the wet aged Angus ribeye. Both of them were spectacular as always. We also ordered mushrooms, garlic mash, and creamed corn as our sides. Each of them was really something special and quite frankly these are the best mushrooms I’ve ever had anywhere. The creamed corn is to die for and the garlic mash was super velvety and smooth. For dessert, my dining buddy ordered the butter cake and because it was his birthday, they also brought out some ice cream, with a candle! Service here is top notch and they really do everything possible to make you feel special and comfortable while you’re there. They also now have a point of sale system where they take your credit card right at the table, which is actually really nice. Our server made us feel like it was a special occasion and did everything he could to add to to our experience and nothing to detract from it. If you are in the Tampa Bay area near the Tampa international airport and are looking for the best ribeye in the area, definitely see if you can visit here. No one does it like this place! Yes it’s $$$$ but in this case you get what you pay for, and then some.

A lot of ppl was yelling in bar area. Very hard to hear or talk at table. Bill was great but he was busy.

My husband ate at Charley’s for the first time a couple of months ago and he loved it so much we came back for our 20th anniversary. Charley’s didn’t disappoint! Ritchie was an amazing server and made the experience very enjoyable and fun. He was spot on about the fired lobster. Deric was amazing too- the sweet butter bake alone is was with the trip from Miami. They were very profesional and made it special for us. Will be back with the kids!

We’ve been to Charley’s many times and it never disappoints! There were 5 of us and all steaks ordered were done to perfection! The lobster bisque was full of lobster and super tasty. We really like the ambiance at Charley’s as well! Cozy and sophisticated! Our server, Neil, was fantastic! He provided excellent recommendations, service, and humor! Worth every penny! Until next time….

The service at Charley’s is the best in area. From the second you walk in, you are treated as if you are the only guest in the restaurant. A very close second to the service is the food and drinks. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The only drawback was I was only able to eat a few bites of my delicious dessert because I was just that full. I hope the new location will keep some of the charm and warmth that this Tampa staple has brought for decades.

The Pork Chops and Lamb that our friends ordered seemed to be a good value for the money. I ordered $120 Lobster Tail and it was disappointing in that they cut it up into bite sized pieces. Had I known I would have asked for it not to be cut up other than removed from shell. Felt it could have been cooked a little less as it was tough. The Bison Rib Eye my husband ordered was good although it came out lukewarm. We enjoyed the Lobster Mashed Potatoes but the Lobster Mac & Cheese our friends ordered was unremarkable. Baked Cauliflower was good but for $23 I probably would not order it again. It was my friend's birthday. It is nice that Charley's presented her with complimentary Meatball Appetizer and Vanilla Ice Cream. Our bill for 2 was $327.67 after Tip.Of the $327.67 only $24 was Alcohol & we drank regular water. IMHO restaurant prices have gotten outrageous. We always liked to fine dine on regular basis but now we rather spend our money on cruising & travel, only fine dining for special occasions. We specifically asked for our server by name as he had been great in the past. He is very personable. However, after Covid the attention from wait staff is not there. I do not want to draw attention to him so I purposefully have not mentioned his name. He was very talkative when we arrived at 6 pm but as the restaurant filled by the time our food arrived he was barely visible and his assistant did not appear that interested once I did not order a second half bottle of wine to the point that our water glasses remained empty for over a half hour until we could get their attention to ask for more water. We did not care for the Iceberg Lettuce salad included with meal. My friend & I did mention it to the server and we were able to get Romaine Lettuce.

The food was mostly delicious. The only problem we had was the temperature on the steak and lamb chops we ordered was not correct. Otherwise everything else was delicious . Our service was wonderful and waiter was very accommodating and attentive. Was an enjoyable evening. Will definitely return.

From arrival to departure, all members of the staff at the restaurant were very attentive and friendly. The food was outstanding, and our wait staff of Willie (main) and Thomas (assisting) were excellent. Always a treat to dine at Charley's Steak House.

It was our first time at Charley's and we had an outstanding experience. The food was excellent, the wines were wonderful and the service we received from Lise was exceptional. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

Extremely overrated. The escargot was flavorless. The steak was accurately cooked and flavorful but no more so than what I prepare, at home, on my Kamado Joe. Flemings or Counsel Oaks are absolutely comparable and have price point that match their quickly.

Favorite restaurant in Tampa. Heck favorite restaurant in Florida. Food is devine. Steaks cooked to perfection. The creamed corn was the star of the night (except for the steaks, of course). Outstanding wine list. Service was impeccable, beyond attentive, and fully anticipating our every need or want. Don’t miss this special treat.
