Booked a month in advance and requested a booth (waited 30 minutes and never got a booth; decided on table). $50 filet was severely overcooked (Manager was unapologetic and didn't comp entree; they did recook). Comped a dessert instead (we took it to-go and it didn't include silverware so we couldn't eat it). $170 meal I regret. Wish we would have ate at our hotel. This was our first out of town "couple's getaway" while our 9 month old was babysat 3hrs back home. Brian was a fine server and I feel badly that his management lacks the skills to deal with kitchen issues.

Our server seemed like he was trying to get rid of us verses help us through our experience at Char. $400 later he should of been more accommodating.
