We would like to invite you to enjoy dinner in little Europe. Our restaurant is fully family-owned. You will meet the grandma who's cooking everyday at the restaurant, you will enjoy our freshly baked bread and delicious food!
The Chanta family invites you to our home, where we will offer you authentic European food, hospitality and warmth! We started our restaurant business in Romania, over 8 years ago and we have three restaurants there. This is our first restaurant in the States, which opened in June 2020. We highly recommend the lamb chops specialty and all the homemade breads we have. The restaurant is beautifully designed for a cozy, intimate dinner. Enjoy your journey!

This was our first time at a true Eastern European restaurant. Our server, Chris navigated us through the menu and made our experience so enjoyable. We had homemade ravioli with lobster, and a few dishes he suggested. Food was delicious! This place is a nice change of pace from the environment, to the unique menu. We had a great time!

What an amazing restaurant. True authentic European food. Service was great and the food was out of this world. I’ve already planned on bringing my friends when we come back…and I will be back!

Absolutely wonderful! Our Hungarian Gulash soup was some of the best we’ve ever experienced, even in Europe. My daughter and shared a serving as an appetizer. The rest of our meals were equally splendid. We found a new favorite on our short list of exceptional restaurants.

We booked for Mothers Day as we wanted a place new to us and without a buffet offering on a high traffic special occasion day. Decor is Eastern European inspired so very nice and matching to the elaborate a la carte menu of selected European dishes ranging from Germany, Hungary to Austria and Romania etc. I had the Hungarian Goulash which was right on. My wife ordered a meal which was also very good. Desserts were a few classics with their own twist. Chanta has also a Pizza oven and thus has Pizza options, thin crust, classic Northern Italian style. Service was good. Noise level was quite to moderate, as we had a table close to their bar, so great and no problem. They offer inside and outside seating. As a “former” Middle European I liked it a lot. There are so many dishes I would have like to try. My son had the Schnitzel which came with hand cut fries and he liked it as well. Overall a very nice experience, as it was also a bit of an excursion for us, as I we reside in Sarasota… Chanta is nice. Thanks.

First time @ Chanta and it was amazing. Food, Service and Atmosphere were fantastic. Definitely will be returning many times in future. The menu is so appealing itself. Makes it worth the trip.

Absolutely amazing authentic dinner here. The food was absolutely delicious. We got the schweine schnitzel and the Saccottini Vanessa. The pasta was as good if not better than some pastas I had in Italy. The Schnitzel was good but was a little dry. Could use some sort of sauce or gravy. Only thing we were shocked about was our Moscatos were $15 a glass and wasn’t too big of a glass either.

We enjoyed the food however the service was pretty slow even though the restaurant was not excessively busy. They could have certainly benefited from having an extra server. As a consequence we had to give up on the desert, which we know it's very good, but had other plans for the evening. Still, I would go there again and I recommend it because of the food.
