My team & I treated (2) of our coworkers to to celebrate their birthday and enjoy an amazing meal / drinks at this incredible restaurant. I have been taking my friends & family here for several years and we always have a joyful time together. I simply LOVE the outstanding Staff as well!

Great place for a celebration. The selection in the salad bar and fine meats was fantastic. Our server was very attentive and the staff were all very pleasant.

The service Friday May 3rd was lacking. Normally they are extremely attentive to the point that you’re no sooner sitting your glass down from taking a sip that they’re refilling it. It seemed as though there were multiple instances when the cowboys bringing meat around seemed to just skip over our table all together. typically when you begin dining, they swarm your table with offerings but that night we sat that for several minutes after indicating we were ready to begin dining before anyone came around. Then the same thing happened at the end of the meal, we sat for a good 10-15 minutes after flipping our cards over to indicate we were done eating before finally having to flag a manager down and ask for our bill. Amazing food, but not the kind of service you’d expect as a repeat customer or at that price point.

First time in a restaurant like this. Service is wonderful! Everyone is so nice and friendly. Food was amazing, especially the steaks! The cheesecake was delicious and enough for 2 or 3 people.

The food was amazing! The servers are fast, respectful, and attentive. I was also surprised as to how present the managers are! Ours checked in with our table plenty of times. The only downside is that it’s a little pricey, and it’s relatively loud. The restaurant isn’t small but it still is noisy, and there are always lots of traffic in between tables.

meat was very bland. not seasoned at all and not seared. Potaotes where bland as well as the cheese bread. The salad bar was very messy upon arrival. Meat also came out slow. I did pay gritutity plus an extra tip as the service was acceptable. San Antonio location is way better!

place was very nice, waiters would come by the table everynow and then pretty often so we definitely had food on our plates for sure. waiters would ask as well if were looking for specific cuts as well which made it very convenient since i do love to eat the picanha there. Drinks would be refilled very often and the food was always hot and fresh and would be generous on the servings. overall would go again. took my father there for his birthday and they gave us a tres leches cake on the house which was very very nice and generous of them.

Food and dining was great. Parking not so much. Now it’s mandatory valet, as there are no parking spots with option to self-park. I don’t like other people driving my car, and I didn’t have the option to park it myself.

Had a reservation for 8:45 wasn’t seated until 9:30. AM little communication would have been greatly appreciated. Food was outstanding and service was after finally being sat.

Absolutely Fantastic Service! All Beef, except the Filet was tough, a bit dry, and over-seasoned. The Ribeye, quite unexpectedly, was like rubber! The Filet, which I didn’t get the opportunity to try until I was full and ready to go, was seasoned and fire-grilled to perfection! The Bottom Sirloin Steak gets Honorable Mention for flavor! The Lamb, Pork Ribs, and Chicken were, basically, “run of the mill” grilled meats that you can find at just about any decent restaurant! I feel certain, the Beef Suppliers slipped-in some lower quality meats on Chama Gaucha! The Salad Bar was incredible! All-in-all, My Wife and I had a very nice evening, with the exception of the noise level and crowded environment! Great complimentary Tres-Leche Cake for our 50th Anniversary Dinner Desert!

My husband and I went here for his birthday and our experience was very nice. Ambience was good and staff amazing and very thoughtful. We also got a birthday treat which was very thoughtful as well. Wish they had more spread at the salad bar but overall, we enjoyed our visit.

There are other Brazilian steakhouses, but there's only one Chama Gaucha. In my judgment it is the best restaurant of its kind in North America. The meats, the service, the attention to detail surprise to the upside every time, even after a dozen or more visits. Pro tip: if you don't see something you want, just ask. Seriously. They will almost always make it happen.

When I first got to the place, I was disappointed by the salad bar. It was very limited when you compare it to those of Texas de Brazil or Gaucho do Sul…HOWEVER, it made up for it with their great cuts of meat and stellar service. Their staff is extremely well trained and incredibly friendly. This is now my go-to place for rodizio-style restaurants!

Grilled pineapple, drinks, & desserts all are not included. No soup at the salad bar. The meat quality was poor, chewy, and overly salty. The grilled shrimps tasted like the frozen shrimps from Sam's Club (threw that in the trash & discontinued the membership). I don't know why there are so many great reviews. I think if you are love eating minimally $75 ribeye or Waygu at other Houston restaurants, you will not enjoy the quality of the meat here.

I saw larger tables being catered to. We were only 2 and we didn’t get the same service. In fact I had to stop a gaucho to bring me some of the entrees. Not the service I remember from years ago.
