We are a Los Angeles based tea room and online tea retailer. We've been here for 30 years, helping the people of Los Angeles discover tea. Chado Tea Room has served the Los Angeles area for over 25 years. With 4 locations, they have revolutionized the Angelino tea lover's experience.                                   While it doesn't offer much in the way of ambience, the tea and food makeup for everything. I was there for Mother's Day with a set menu. It came with a teacup gift. The staff seemed very busy and most of them didn't know how to help me because they didn't speak English, but I still had a great experience. They accommodated my reservation even though I accidentally came at the wrong time. The Mother's Day tea service came with a wide variety of sandwiches, pastries, sauces and chocolates. Their teapots were also adorable. Variety of tea selections were amazing.

                                  No vale la pena, he estado en lugares que te ofrecen una gran calidad y belleza en el servicio del té, este no lo tiene. Caro y malo ☹️

                                  Ambience and service was great but the food was sub-par! The tea sandwiches were dry and filling was measly. I could have made much better sandwiches at home. Unfortunately the best thing on the afternoon tea service was the whipped butter, jam and tea. We were very disappointed! The setting of tables were nice and I enjoyed sipping my tea but the food was terrible. I would never go back to a Chado Tea Room for $74 for 2.

                                  Wonderful, full English afternoon tea with a glass of tea,-infused wine! The pot of my choice - Golden Monkey - of tea was prompt & & very hot. Definitely will recommend to a friend! Tea room just a couple of blocks from Chinese and Egyptian Theaters, but upstairs.

                                  It’s a nice little tea room with a few tables, but the guy who greeted us was too loud, he was almost yelling! He was friendly but his voice was deafening. We ordered the tea service and the sandwiches were OLD, dry, with rubbery chicken filling. The scone was warm but did not taste fresh. At 11 am we were the first customers, hence we were served leftovers and day old breads. I almost wanted my money back, but the teas were good so never mind. We won’t come back.

                                  Chado was not crowded and our server gave us plenty of time to decide on our food choices. My friend and I had not gotten together for three+ years, so we appreciated that our server did not rush us.

                                  We had the afternoon tea service. Delightful tea. Scones were milky and amazing. Great selection of sandwiches. Took home cookies for later. Butter cooks were fantastic! Overall, enjoyed it and will go again if I visit.
