A friend recommended. We sat out in patio area. Great ambiance and I was comfortable not cold or hot. I ordered the Lasagna and it was excellent. I took some home for left overs. My partner ate spinach ravioli, which was excellent. We had a vodka gimlet and a gin and raspberry drink forgot name. Both were excellent! Great service! Did I mention the Tiramisu.. Excellent! We used Valet and this is well worth it instead of looking for parking.

The service was great. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing. The pasta and the lasagna were both delicious and the desserts were outstanding. We will definitely be coming back:

Amazing food! I have a gluten allergy and they were so attentive and even brought out GF bread. Service was top of the line attentive, just fantastic. Looking forward to going again soon!!

My family and I decided to celebrate Mother's Day at Cesarina Italian restaurant, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality, setting the perfect tone for our meal. Now, let's talk about the food. Every dish that graced our table was a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. My wife had the PACCHERI VODKA and SCAMPI and I had the PAPPARDELLE al BRASATO di MANZO The homemade pasta dishes were cooked to perfection, and the sauces were bursting with authentic Italian flavors. I would have liked to have actual chunks of meat and less sauce but it was delicious nonetheless. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations, enhancing our dining experience even further. Overall, Cesarina surpassed all our expectations and provided us with a Mother's Day celebration that we will never forget. We will definitely be returning to this gem of a restaurant for many more special occasions in the future. Grazie mille, Cesarina!

Food was mediocre for what we paid. The most exceptional thing we had was the tiramisu. I would only comeback for that, but that is about it. Service and ambiance was great. Price and food quality is subpar to the prices that we paid. Lasagna and pasta with the short rib was just ok, not worth the price we paid.

Came here with my parents and sister for my birthday dinner. I understand why everyone recommends Cesarina. The service is amazing! The food is very filling (go carbs!) and the overall ambiance makes the dining experience enjoyable (it was a bit dark due to the dim lighting). We got the sauteed mussels for our appetizer, bolognese with rigatoni, funghi with the mafadle shape, and baked cannelloni (special for the night). Tiramisu was on the house as it was my birthday and it was made right at our table! They even took a Polaroid picture of my family to cherish the moment. Shout out to our server too (I believe her name is May?) she was very attentive!

Just loved this place. The food was delicious, we started with the carpaccio (yum) and it did not disappoint. The focaccia bread was perfectly light and tasty. The cocktails were fun and the pasta was truly fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the Funghi, if you love mushrooms, this is for you. My husband had the special (fresh pasta, sausage and cheesy goodness) I loved the Gavi Gavi wine and the outside back patio was decorated wonderfully and the decor was inviting. Juliana was the best and we will definitely be back soon.

I love this place, I have to say that my fiorelli pasta undercooked, not al dente (I know the difference) and the lasagna was ok; everything else was absolutely amazing! The tiramisu it’s a must! And the octopus it’s my absolute favorite

Cesarina is an absolute favorite in SD! Food, ambiance, and service top notch! Our server Eric was very helpful! Our out of town guests thought it was amazing! The drinks were delicious. We had the squash blossom appetizer that was great for 4 people. We all had a pasta dish with an amazing sauce…the bolognese and funghi should be must try’s! We also tried the lasagna which was one of the best ever! And, let’s not forget dessert. The table side tiramisu should not be missed!!!! We also tried the ricotta cheesecake with the caramel-chocolate sauce, and wow! So amazing! Again, it was a great dinner with friends at one of our favorite SD restaurants! An amazing place to treat out of town guests!

A great restaurant. Service and food very good. We were seated outside and the noise level was very low which we liked. Note that if you are seated inside the noise level is much higher.
