Our restaurant is small and fills up fast, although not always needed reservations are highly recommended (especially during peak hours 6pm-8pm).

NEW MENU LAUNCH APRIL 2024!

Cereus was created by 2 friends with a passion for hospitality. Our Colombian staffed kitchen moved across the world and several states to serve you their amazing creations. Bringing them together here was in part a love letter to our co-founder Phil Chung's wife Alejandra from Bogotá. Our beverage program was developed by our other co-founder Bradley Stephens, who wanted to create a menu that is as unique to this part of the world as our chef's food. Taking favorite classics that are rarely found in the PNW ad variations of others that he believes are their best versions. With one of the most diverse spirits lists in town, and award winning originals.

Unique menu. Great decor. Inventive cocktails. Stick with custom cocktails like the slushy. Tasty albeit small. Mai Tai was supposed to be traditional (not super sweet variety) but was slightly sour. Appetizers good but small. Restaurant was unusually cold especially for a small place. 1 lady sat down and left as she commented she was too cold. Also odd mix of music (traditional Mexican song, auto tune song, etc) and really loud. Had to ask to turn it down.

Our son has been to Colombia several times and loves the food. So he was thrilled when we came here for his birthday. Food was outstanding, could not ask for better service and the ambiance was perfect. Casual and quiet.

It was Valentine’s Day, so service was a bit slow and held up, but otherwise a great experience and great food. Will likely come back during calmer hours.

We sat outside, which was a bit chilly, but we were prepared with warm clothes. Service was very slow, which normally I am understanding of, but when two tables that were seated after us are served well before us, it becomes very frustrating. Food overall was good, a tad overpriced for the serving sizes. Might be willing to try it for lunch or HH in the future.

Maybe Valentine’s Day was just a bad night. Ceviche was good and dessert was good. Main dish was atrocious, pork wasn’t seasoned and was dry as a bone and cold. The duck was slightly better but also cold and average at best. Felt like we were served leftovers. Definitely wouldn’t go back, at least on a night like that.

Food was fine. We paid for the Valentine's Experience. The ceviche salad was quite good. So it started off quite well. But the main course of duck breast and pork loin felt average. Think they might not have expected to be as busy as they were? Food came late and kind of felt rushed onto the plate. Make a very nice Old Fashioned, though. I would like to retry on a standard night to order off the standard menu. Just felt off on Valentine's Day.

The food was fantastic, very flavorful and good portion sizes. The service was great. We were seated outside in the heated area, which was fine, but it was very loud. The conversations from other tables were amplified and it was hard to hold a conversation of our own.

The food was unique and very good! 4 of us shared a bunch of different things which was fun. Furthermore, everything is gluten free which makes dining for me tricky at times since I have a gluten intolerance. It’s nice not having to make compromises and have everybody enjoy!!

The beef brisket and chorizo empanadas are delicious. The cocktail menu is interesting because it explains how the cocktail came to be known. Delicious drinks!

Very enjoyable meal. Arepas and empanadas were the stars. The patacones and ceviché were also good, but not quite at the same level. Cocktails and zero proof drinks were enjoyed by all. Very friendly and attentive service. Would recommend!

The experience was great. The food was delicious, especially the empanadas. It was amazing to have a menu were the food accommodates gluten-free diets. The drinks were the high point of the experience. We will definitely come back.

Fusion of South American cuisine so tasty and interesting - pacatones, ahi tuna, sushi, etc - excellent! The Mango Diablo cocktail is recommended. Inside seating is limited- can get noisy - we sat on the patio with heaters - comfortable.

I have had brunch and dinner here and the food has been great both times. I do find the portions to be a touch on the smaller side, but at 220 lbs, that could just be me.

Wonderful new spot for South American food and exquisite cocktails, courtesy of Karine, the bartender. Besides the eclectic menu choices, she has more and can create a new one on the spot. Lots of unusual and rare ingredients. Small, intimate and fun.

The food was excellent! Found this when trying to figure out where to eat on OT and wish we had found it sooner! If you are sensitive to spice, be sure to ask what is mild as there are some dishes (chorizo for example) and at least one drink that are quite spicy! The chorizo empanada was outside my comfort level for spice, but it was so good that I ate it and then just finished the last one as a leftover :). They seem to have a lot of cocktails on their menu and even a few mocktails.
