Celeste is a modern, refined interpretation of the classic American drinking establishment. Our four levels are each inspired by nuances in architecture, art movements, social clubs, and a breakdown of the barriers between art and life. A carefully curated space, upscale cuisine, and imaginative cocktails create the essence of Celeste.

Reservation Types:

Whiskey Bar High-Top:
On the first floor, The Bar is a nod to classic neighborhood bars. This space offers a casual atmosphere, perfect for gathering with friends during happy hour while indulging in elevated spirits, modern American cuisine, and an expanded whiskey list.
Open Wed-Sat at 7pm

Deco Supper Club:
Located on the second floor, Deco Supper Club pays homage to the glamorous architectural history of Chicago at the turn-of-the-century with a drink menu spotlighting craft cocktails.
Open Thurs-Sat at 7pm.

I parked in front of Hubbard St where I paid at the pay box to 11pm. I did not see any sign that said after 11pm that I would be towed. I only stayed 1.5hrs bc all 3 flrs was too loud to talk and it was too crowded to dance or stand. Thanks for my Opentable dinner reservation for a booth on the 1st flr so I had 3 plates to share and it was ok bar food and server Kara was good. But stepping out of the club at midnight and seeing the tickets & tow truck was upsetting. It took me 3.5hrs to get it my car out of the auto pound & $375. I will stay in the suburbs where the clubs are better & quiet and no car towing bc there’s free parking! Sorry!

Have never been asked for a credit card hold while sitting down for a meal. When we finished the meal, we never received the bill until after the payment was processed and never received an itemized receipt. Bizarre experience overall

We ate here for restaurants week and had the whole menu. The burger and the fettuccine were both great and it’s hard to pick a winner. The steak tartar was very good served on some sort of potato bed vs a more traditional Cristini while the arancini was a bit too “simple” to comment on. The servers were very attentive and everyone from the door staff to the bussers checked in on us throughout the evening. Note** If you enjoy an espresso martini, order a round of the mini’s to get started, they were worth the wait for the fresh espresso.

We got there at 6:50 for a 7pm reservation and they turned us away, telling us to go across the street to a cocktail bar and to come back at 7. It was freezing out and there was nowhere else to go. Once we were inside at 7pm (after going out and coming back for 10 mins) we could barely hear each other because huge speakers were blaring above each table. Our waitress barely had a skirt on and was dressed like she was about to dance at the club upstairs. Food was mediocre at best. Needless to say we will never be back and certainly never recommend this place.
