I had not been to Celebration for 7 years and was looking forward to the amazing food with family and friends. The food was just ok and the catfish tasteless. The portions were puny and the prices double. I understand we’re in inflationary times but one puny chicken breast for $17 and my having to eat bread to get full simply did not cut it. Our party of 8 was very underwhelmed!

This restaurant is a Dallas institution. The food is homestyle and comforting. It is a great unpretentious place to take family and friends for a birthday. My parents are in their 80's and ordering at many restaurants can be overwhelming. Celebration has a small menu, but it can satisfy a variety of tastes. The special was short ribs and was tasty and fork tender. The chicken fried steak was good too. The food is fairly bland, which is great for my parents and for others who don't like a lot of spice. If you like the spice, tuck a bottle of your favorite hot sauce or tajin in your pocket so you can add a little zip. For the atmosphere and the attentive (but somewhat serious) service, I give it a 4 out of 5 stars.

First time visit — atmosphere is great for conversation, not too loud. The food was great but a bit spicy, especially the green beans. Our party of 10 enjoyed the restaurant and the service was good. Probably wouldn’t make a special trip to eat here again, but definitely one of the best choices if you’re in the area!

I've eaten there many times, but this is the first time for lunch. Service was very good, and the food choices were really broad....our party of seven ordered seven different entrees, and none of them were disappointing.

Went for a birthday dinner with 4 other friends. Food was great as usual and our woman server was wonderful especially since I have a few difficult friends. Wish I knew the name of the woman employee I was chatting with before my friends arrived as I would like to chat some more with her. My friends has the pot roast which they said was great, I had the catfish which was great. Cheers

We have been away from Dallas for 15 yrs and have many wonderful memories of Celebration. We came back to town for the holidays and definitely wanted an evening at Celebration with the family. From making reservations to finishing a wonderful dinner and everything in between it was a completely wonderful experience! The staff was fantastic and of course so was the food and ambiance. Thank you Celebration, you did not disappoint.

Everything was great until one lady came to our table and began rudely taking played that people were still eating. I guess this was her way of telling us that it was time for is to leave. H poo Weber. The waitress we had was great, there good was good but I won't be back and would not recommend to anyone because of that one lady rude behavior.

Wonderful Experience. We had a small group of 6 in a private room. The service was great and the food delicious. Our server was friendly and helpful. Delightful. The meatloaf continues to be my favorite, but everything is good. Love the homemade salad dressings and the locally sourced veggies. Yum!

I have been coming to Celebration since its first year as a restaurant in 1971. It has been about 6 months since my last visit and I have to say the quality of the food has gone down. It is still good food, just not up to previous standards. Hopefully we just caught them on an off night. The service is still good and the staff is very friendly.

I decided to try Celebration for a family gathering on a Sunday. It was great having a quiet room and Cindy, our server, was great. I was, however, disappointed that I didn't see that they don't have a brunch menu on Sunday. What?! We made do with a dinner menu at 11 am, and everyone enjoyed their meal. I live in Houston, so haven't been to Celebration in years, and I could really tell that the decor is still the same and now very "tired." But, overall, it is still a good place for family table gatherings.

We came to celebrate our family matriarch’s 85th birthday and asked for some special accommodations due to her recent profound hearing loss. The staff promptly offered us a private room which was above and beyond our expectations! Sadly, the room sat directly across from the kitchen entrance and exit doors which pretty much negated the quieter experience we had hoped for. But the evening as a whole was extremely enjoyable with fabulous food, friendly service and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We LOVE Celebration for creating fabulous memories for our many special occasions! We will keep coming back!

Our family has enjoyed many gatherings over the years at Celebration. Great family style restaurant. We have a family member who is hard of hearing and we usually reserve one of the private rooms. Staff are professional and friendly. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

Every year our family celebrates joint birthday and anniversary parties. Celebration Restaurant is the perfect venue for all 8 of us! The food was delicious. Every person was able to select their favorite foods and we were able exchange gifts afterwards. The dessert selection was delicious as well. So glad this Restaurant is still operating!! And a shout-out to the staff, they were awesome! Thank you, Carla!!
