I ordered the New York steak that the server recommended. I ordered it medium rare and it was medium well to well done. I only ate a very small portion. I mentioned it to the server after the person took back most of the steak all of the steak, the server said yes she thought that I got someone else’s steak. Then she offered me a dessert. I will never go back. If they wanted my business, they should’ve ordered some type of discount for me to return.

Too noisy. Do not like that they charge 3% extra to use a credit card. That is a part of doing business and should not be added on as an extra.

Mother’s Day is too busy and the staff is overwhelmed. The menu is reduced and the noise is high. I would recommend the day before Mothers Day.

Horrible menu...I mean not only was Mothers Day brunch a fixed menu, it should guarantee quality. I paid $25 for terrible scrambled eggs with chorizo...and they dont even come with tortillas? We also had $20 avocado toast which was probably the worst I have ever had...it wasnt even really toast, it was a french toast type. The actual $25 french toast we gave to our children AND this was a loaf cake of some sort in which you slice yourself. Had a french toast taste of course with syrup but they didnt like it and I wasnt impressed. You hear that? Kids didnt like french toast? Thats a first. Rounding out the orders were the $30 ham and potatoes, which was tasty but like 4 slices of ham and mashed potatoes. Servers and Hosts were fantastic though...but fixed brunch menu was embarrassing especially for Mothers Day. Normally I dont leave negative reviews for tic tac things as I understand how serving families can be challenging, but this was ridiculous.

Had a three course special braised short rib. Was not good. Dry and no flavor. Not sure if off the menu version would have been any different. Had it before off the regular menu and it was very good.

Let's start with - "it was Monday Dinner Hour" and you can guess the rest from that! We were one of 5 tables in the entire dinner room that probably had like 25+ tables. Generally, that is the curse of NEW restaurants that are fighting to gain a brand or market share. (Bar was parsley occupied too.) Somewhat surprising for a long term established dinner venue like Cedar Creek Inn - Brea. Other than that the food was good to very good. Steaks came out very true to order (Med Rare). Same for the wait service Good to very good - but a bit on the rushed side. I would say the Calamari appi was the best one we ordered. Stay away from the crab cakes as they were very small (touch your index finger to your thumb and that was the size of them, basically!). Environment is very good - clean and inviting - but seriously - where are the customers? I hope they have crowds on the weekend. I would receommnd but with new expectations.

Our expedience was great. Food was exceptional and moderately priced. There were many dishes to choose from and the Bree appetizer was delicious. Waiter was attentive and helpful with menu. I would definitely go there again especially for a special occasion.

An excellent location for a first date. The drinks were good, the appetizer plentiful and the dinner was very tasty. I requested a quiet table as I’m hard of hearing and was very happy with our seating. The price was very reasonable especially considering the high quality. My prime rib was very good.

I was there for a Business Meeting, and we were able to conduct business without having to shout or whisper. Our server was excellent and attentive, she even found an outlet for one of the parties whose phone battery had run down. overall, it was a great experience.

The service was a little “uneven” for the very first time. Food was good as usual but, it’s amazing how small lapses in service can kind of spoil an evening. We will be back but, will be requesting a more reliable server who we know next time!

This is a gem in Brea. The ambiance is beautiful and classy. The prices were very reasonable and the food was delicious. The special Spring Fair was a great deal with appetizer, entree, and dessert. We also had an expresso martini-delish! Their resident Peahen was right outside our window. Very sweet.

The hostess is attentive to our request for a table to the side. The server Jessica provided exceptional services, always checking in with our teen to make sure he is comfortable! The food was tasty and the portions were generous! Great dining experience!

Fantastic food and service! The appetizers, cocktails, salads, and entrees tasted wonderful and were beautifully plated. Our server was professional and personable.

Excellent service, delicious food! Because it was Easter, the noise level was probably higher than usual as Cedar Creek is a popular dining experience for special occasions.

I thought the food was just ok. I had the cedar plank salmon. It was a little overcooked and I think the pairings were ok. Mashed - ok Green beans - terrible need other options

Easter brunch, excellent service , food was tasty and good . Maybe next time a little more hollandaise sauce on the classic traditional eggs Benedict..

I didn’t have a great time, the food was not tasty, we ordered the Cobb salad and it lacked taste, I ordered the filet minion medium and it was well done, I sent back and the next one was dry and was something I felt that sizzler could make a better one, I sent back and had them remove from my bill, the baked potato was super dry I’m thinking microwaved or I don’t know, I also noticed a 3% credit card fee?? I’m thinking wow… with prices so high I just expect better from this place.
