In support of the regulations issued by the city of New York, Cecconi’s Dumbo is now open for outdoor seating until 11pm.

Cecconi’s Dumbo is a modern day classic Italian restaurant near Brooklyn Bridge park, specializing in hand-made pasta, wood-fired pizza and other Italian staples. Originating in Venice and with outposts in London and West Hollywood, Cecconi’s has become a critically acclaimed dining destination featuring simply prepared Venetian inspired food.

It is a restaurant made for tourists. Extremely loud with prices so out of kilter with other restaurants in NYC and BKLYN. my wife and I have gone to the most expensive and highly recommended restaurants in NYC and found that this place lacks the menu and the food to warrant the prices.

The restaurant with the worst service! I reserved a table for our engagement dinner. When we got there, the man at reception refused to let us in for no reason and said that this reservation was only a preference and that we would have to wait for a table as he didn't have one at the moment. This restaurant ruined an entire evening for 5 people and acted disrespectfully towards us. I would not recommend anyone to spend a nice evening here! Cause this is impossible.

I had the mocktail “La dolce vita” and it was amazing, I also ordered the Bolognese pasta since it’s one of my favorite dishes but I was a little disappointed by the taste. Probably a 4/10

Einfach tolles Restaurant! Echter italienischer Flair direkt an der Manhatten Bridge! Lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen in den USA. Gutes Essen hat natürlich seinen Preis.

Our dinner and drinks were delicious. We were fortunate enough to be seated by the window with a view of lower Manhattan. However, along with that view, we had to watch while a beauty professional combed and styled a woman’s hair at the table on the other side of the window. This was very unsanitary and upsetting; I’m afraid it might be a health department violation. I am surprised that no one from Cecconi’s intervened. Also concerning is that an employee of Cecconi’s, who might have been the chef, came out of the kitchen and spoke to the people at the table to greet them while the hair combing and brushing was going on. In fact, they had mousse and other styling products on the table. Not to worry… as soon as her hair was done the stylist did touch up her make up. Very disappointing.

Location is great but service and food wasn't as expected. I have been to other Cecconi's locations in Europe and they have been so much better! Had the worst Tiramisu of my life here.

Food was good. Service was terrible. We had to wait a long time to order drinks, order food. The ambiance was nice. We sat at a table by the window and even though it was a rainy day it was still a magnificent view of the bridge.

Made a reservation few days before, had what felt like the best seats in the house all the way in the back, beautiful outside section that didn’t look open yet, but the booths are beautiful couches that were veryyyy comfortable, food was very delightful Prosciutto pizza, ricotta honey, and the octopus are a must!!!

We have visited couple restaurants of Cecconi’s and this one is nothing similar to ones you see in Europe. Here is plenty random, casually dressed people. You got a feeling like to in the casual pizza place.

Went there this afternoon to have lunch with my girlfriend and although we’ve placed the order at the same time, her plate got at least 20 minutes before mine. I’ve ordered a pizza with burrata on top. The burrata was frozen and my pizza got cold. My girlfriend ordered a lobster pasta and she complained the lobster was undercooked. We’ve been to ceccconis several times and this is the worst time by far. We paid $200+ for a poor experience.

Our experience was awesome. Server was on point and the food was delicious. My family had avocado salad and Rigatoni Bolognese. I had ricotta honey crostini and cavatelli lamb ragú so tasty. We enjoyed the beautiful sunny weather outdoors with a panoramic view of Brooklyn and the Manhattan Bridge. Just wonderful! We will be back soon.

If the service hadn't been so poor, I would have given a higher rating. The food and environment were satisfactory, but the service impacted the overall experience. After my friends and I checked in, the front desk asked us to wait a moment. However, we sat for ten minutes and noticed that guests who arrived after us were seated before us. When my friend went to inquire, it turned out they had forgotten about us after check-in, so then they finally took us to our table. After being seated, no server came to assist us. The servers were busy attending to tables to our left and right, ignoring us, so after a while, we had to proactively speak to the staff, who then called a waiter for us. We gave 20% tip because it’s the least option we can choose after payment.

We were a little disappointed as we made a reservation for 5pm and arrived ten minutes early and had requested to be seated on the terrace for a birthday celebration. We had to repeatedly approach the deal as was still waiting 30 mins later. We were not seated on the terrace even though there were empty tables and was informed they were just opening other parts of the restaurant and weee going from lunch to dinner so is confusing as to why you would take a reservation for that time if you are unable to accommodate people. The birthday was not acknowledged. However Bob our waiter was very entertaining

Cecconi's never disappoints. The Roman style gnocchi is a MUST (close your eyes and you will be transported to Via del Corso). The risotto appropriately sull'onda, and the wine list is accessible and affordable. A bit nippy yet for patio dining, but if you are lucky enough to snag a riverside table, the views are spectacular.

We had a wonderful dinner, excellent food and great service. Definitely recommend. Great Manhattan views , especially during sunset.
