Welcome to the first Cecconi's in Manhattan!

Situated on the first floor of the Ned Nomad, this modern-day classic Italian restaurant serves hand-made pasta, wood oven-fired pizza, seafood, and dishes from Northern Italy.

Design details include a hand-chipped mosaic and terrazzo striped floor, a new take on the traditional Cecconi’s stripe, set against navy velvet banquettes, golden-yellow leather chairs, and a polished timber bar, inspired by classic mid-century Italian Trattorias.

Cecconi’s is open to the public, with advance reservations for members and hotel guests.

Cicconi's NoMad is a stop I usually make when in the NYC area. Located within the Ned Nomad Hotel and directly across the street from the Ritz Carlton Nomad, the location proximity to my favorite hotels makes it an easy spot to dine. I've been fortunate to have on several occasions enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner in this establishment. On a general note, the service and food have consistently held up over the last few years, therefore I keep returning. On this specific business breakfast, the server was friendly and efficient. The food was very good, although I found the portion sizing to be a bit less than in the past. Otherwise, the experience was on-spot. I'll be back for sure again when staying in the NoMad area.

never fails. A menu full of classics even if the veal milanese could have fed a small army. Awesome martini and great service

This was my second time Cecconi, and it was very nice. Host gave us one of the best tables in the house. Food was excellent, we both had the Chicken Paillard. The appetizers and salads were also tasty. Service was excellent with Taylor... who gave us just the right amount of space. Luckily for us, we came on a night where the rain had slowed the 7-8pm dinner arrivals, so we were not rushed out. Full disclosure, there is a policy at the restaurant to place the entire order (app, salads, entrees, etc.)… but it was "waived" due to the slower pace of the evening, so we had a nice, leisurely dinner. Living in Manhattan for 34 years, we have learned to order each course separately as to not have everything arrive at once. Overall, very nice and will be going back.

Unfortunately I would not return to this restaurant. The chicken paillard was not very good and the service was very spotty. Our server left half way through our meal and no one came in to fill the void. We had to flag down other people to try to order another drink and a dessert. Sadly, a disappointing experience.

Cacio e Pepe was a bit dry and need more ricotta and pepper. Vitello Tonnato was excellent. The Lasagne was new, different and delicious The fried zucchini was great, but I was hoping for fired zucchini blossoms, because they are putting them on the Pizza. It was such, but very quiet. I love Cecconi's in Brooklyn, and nothing can compare to LA!

Food and restaurant were both excellent. Service was lacking a little. We asked twice for ketchup and had to finally ask a third time till it was brought out to us. We were never checked on and had to ask a bus person for coffee refills. Server didn't have a good ear for details. Three coffees were ordered. Two requested cream and one requested regular milk. The regular milk was not brought out. For us, service is just as important as the food is.
