CdM Restaurant is inspired to create an environment that is visually creative and art driven while providing high quality, chef driven cuisine. Hollywood producer McG, partnered with restauranteur Jordan Otterbein, have found success in building the iconic A Restaurant in Newport Beach and are thrilled to bring this new concept to Corona Del Mar. We strive for an establishment that is deeply rooted in the community where all can come to enjoy. CDM has creative American cuisine inspired by Executive Chef Elvis Morales.
Under CDM; is a speakeasy experience taking place right below us. There is no password or reservations required. Our talented mixologists excited to take you on a journey to sipping the perfect cocktail.

We always enjoy coming here for dinner. The tuna appetizer and Parker house rolls are not to be missed. We also love the skirt steak, chicken piccata, and Cacio e Pepe. The Strawberry Rhubarb Tart for dessert is excellent. The service is great, excellent cocktails, and a beautiful rose for all the moms on Mother’s Day.

Service was good and the environment was nice. The food was ok but lacked flavor. The best item by far was the blueberry cheesecake. We ordered the burger, chicken piccata, skirt steak and cioppino.

I took my mom here with my boyfriend for the first time, and it was awesome!! The drinks are amazing, that spicy margarita and espresso martini are excellent! If you like exotic food, then duck liver is a must have! We had rib-eye and filet mignon and it’s delicious! I recommend come at the “Sunset tips” happy hour 4-6pm for great deals. Love it. Very happy & satisfied with food and services.

Great ambiance and decor. The service was great as well. (a little slower at clearing the table would be welcome) Emma was our server and her recs were spot on. The menu has great variety though some dishes are stronger than others. The yellowfin tuna appetizers is a must!

CDM is one of our favorites, but last might the Chicken Picatta was poorly done, the chicken was so so thin that it got lost in the breading. I’ll stick with the Salmon from now on.

Beautiful interior and knowledgeable friendly service. Food was a little too rich for my blood. Caesar salad had Tabasco which wasn’t right. Lingered unpleasantly on the tongue. Black pepper is better. Tomatoes were tasty. Cacio y Pepe was good but very rich. Chicken piccata was a little too rich and capery. I think the chicken was breaded and therefore absorbed more fat than if it had just been floured. The roasted mushrooms were interesting with lemon juice and sweet garlic. Kinda weird fruit loops flavor. The standout was the yellowfin tuna on breaded fried eggplant. Delicious!

Just wanted to make a review of our favorite waitress Abigail. You don’t even have to come in with a plan on what to eat or drink. She will walk you through the menu and tell you highlights of what to order. Afterwards she will even give you cocktail pairings for the meal you choose. My boyfriend and I were celebrating our 8 year anniversary which she made extra special. We even got a rhubarb pie which isn’t something we normally would order but it was to die for. Thank you for such a wonderful service and hope to be back soon.

The staff is great form checking in to ending the meal. Vibe is nice. Food was good, but not great. Drinks were amazing must try the espresso martini. Dessert was fine.

Very disappointed. Food was terrible, pork chop could not have been tougher. Octopus was the worst I've ever had, soft, overly salty and slathered with something white and yucky. and the highly priced wine was so cold it never even reach room temperature by the end of the meal. Overpriced, over hyped. DO. NOT. RECOMMEND.

Nice ambience inside, but coming in through that back entrance is uneven, visually odd and dark. Food was good, although when we asked if they had any other bread besides the Parker House Rolls, we were told they only had Pita bread.

The dining room is quite charming, my fav part of this place is the color way and booths . We started w a meat and cheese board which was good and the yellow tail Tuna appetizer on tempura’s eggplant .. the tuna dish was great- the cheese board not so special . The rib eye was mediocre to say the least - not a prime cut at all, chewy and tough. We cook a lot- and a lot of steaks, this was not quality meat - that’ was the issue. The Mac and cheese was Mac.. topped with cheese - noodles were basically plain under the first layer - no creaminess at all ? They have a great wine list- but the glass is the same as a bottle in a retail store - highway robbery- good stuff tho … “Lemon pasta” was really good simple - and creamy of not too overwhelming and Al dente perfection. Grilled Romain salad was good. A little soggy, but I think they chopped it necessarily … I don’t think it comes that way normally.
