Beautiful restaurant and friendly staff. Appetizers of mussels and baked artichoke was delicious. First dish of pasta was also quite good! Entrée dishes were mixed with steak being the least enjoyable and fish options of Skate and Trout were very good but sides of mushrooms and parsnips were cold and not very tasty. Olive oil cake and other desserts were very good. Our headwater, Evan, was terrific and brought us each a celebratory glass of Champagne for our party of six in honor of our daughter graduating from a nearby College - a lovely end of our dinner at Caterina de Medici.

Five of us celebrating grandsons Marist college graduation. Beautiful building and delicious food. We ordered several items to share which was a great way to taste various appetizers. We also ordered a pasta to share, it was heavenly. We all loved our entree, n finished every bite. Pre ordered a dessert cake which was delicious, I ordered, to taste, the olive oil cake dessert, 5 stars. Hard to truly enjoy dessert as we were full but left over was wrapped for us. Students did a good job explaining menu options, young lady helping with water, silverware, etc. was outgoing, friendly and confident. Learning experience for students so it was interesting to observe various levels of confidence and knowledge of their job. We had a spectacular dinner experience, and felt lucky to secure a reservation during a very busy graduation week end. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We were extremely disappointed in the food, service and cost for what was provided. The food was poorly seasoned and presented, and although most of the staff was very friendly, the server was not attentive and we waited a very long time for service between courses. I’ve been going to CIA restaurants for over 25 yrs, and they used to provide on pointe service and cuisine that was world class, but no longer meets that standard of excellence. I’m sorry to say that we will not be returning any time soon.

We were a party of three. After we were seated a large group of folks came in, perhaps a tour. After they were seated our ordered meal choices, seemed to be a bit delayed. We were served our desserts, as an example, without our ordered coffee. We have all eaten at your restaurants previously, so know that you usually give better service. Yesterday we were a little disappointed.

We had a nice dinner at Caterina de Medici. The students worked very hard to provide us with a great experience. They were crowded and the food preparation was a bit slow but the meal was great for the most part. My wife's appetizer was lacking and her meal (cauliflower dish) really didn't live up to her expectations. We recommend this restaurant and would go again.

We always have a great experience however this last visit the service wasn’t up to par-we waited for water and bread, never received some food items (pizza) and were charged for the undelivered food. Sadly we took a friends with us (first time) and it was embarrassing.

We enjoyed our dining experience at CIA. We noted two things: 1-We were not told we could get a beverage from the bar while we waited for our table nor were we asked if we wanted a cocktail after we were seated at the table. I initiated an inquiry about a bottle of wine. 2-We were not offered coffee or an after dinner drink after dinner. The food and service were very good. We would recommend the CIA to others.

The food was exquisite, the student workers, chefs, sommelier, maitre’d, etc were very hard working, attentive, invested in their work, and engaging, but not intrusive. The only negative part of the evening was with the instructors/CIA staff. They were not environmentally aware - I had a table for one by the kitchen and I heard them complain about students (eg, gossip), talk loudly right by my table, and one had her back to my table as she was instructing a student, and literally her back end was on my table. So, my only recommendation is to the instructors/administrators - please be aware of the tables for two next to the kitchen, even if there is only one person there. We solo diners deserve your awareness as well! Thanks and hope this review gets back to the instructors/staff of Caterina de Medici!

The meal was outstanding. The service team was attentive but still learning. The waiter, who of course is learning, needs to be able to describe the dish and how it is prepared in a way that a layman can understand.
