Le Castaway Restaurant and Special Events Center est situé dans les collines de Burbank. We had a beautiful table outside, and our server Karen was so friendly and knowledgable. Her recommendations were spot on and we had a lovely evening. Can't wait to come back. The Snapper was the favorite of the night.

This was a fantastic experience. I took my wife here for Mother’s Day. Had a great meal and even greater service from Mark. Also William the manager was excellent, moving us to the outside seating in the lounge for desert when our request to sit outside for dinner could not be accommodated. Will definitely go back.

I’m disappointed went for Mother’s Day and the service was terrible took way too long for even a drink. The food wasn’t good; calamari was salty, the steak was gummy and my drink tasted like robitussin and alcohol.

Castaways in Burbank is a beautiful location. With that said, I believe this is the only part of my experience there that was nice. I did not enjoy any of my 4 courses. The food is very disappointing. Especially with the prices we paid for it. The steak is the worst item on their menu. Quality is on a Dennys level. If I was looking for somewhere special to experience a nice quality experience I'd do elsewhere. I believe this should be a drinks and appetizers only spot while enjoying the view.

We made a reservation to celebrate a birthday and were seated timely after we arrived. We were waiting for ~30min at our table and no one came to even provide water. We had to flag down a staff member to figure out the situation and ~5min later someone was assigned to our table. Our waiter (Ekow) saved our night even though he wasn’t originally assigned to our table. He was extremely attentive, very professional, and really helped us out. The food was great but we’d hope for a better overall experience.

Food was not good. Had a party of 9, and ordered most of everything from menu. The only thing that was ok was the mashed potatoes. Steaks had no flavor, fish was whatever, sides were blah. Need improvement on the food because the place is beautiful. Waiter was average at best. Didn’t check on us, barely spoke to us, not very friendly.

Everything was very nice. Food was excellent our waiter was very professional and kind. But 9 people in a booth was very crowded. And the music outside was too loud as more people arrived. We could not hear each other talk. The speaker was way too loud above our head. Love the Castaways.

I havent been back in 15 years because the food was okay and I went back last night to celebrate my bday night with my family and the wait was long and when the food arrived everyone agreed the food was okay. For the price and such a beautiful ambiance I would of expected A1 food! Im just being honest but all the people I ask about castaway say the same thing- beautiful restaurant with okay food!

Wish the food was half as good as the ambience & the view. Very disappointing, again and again, the good is very bland hence Salt & Pepper is a must have on every table. We ordered the Pink Brick beef and it was extremely chewy!!! Mac & cheese was cold. Overall, extremely disappointing.

Celebrated our Anniversary, service and atmosphere was perfect. Miso marinated butterfish was too sweet expected a little spice but no just sweetness. The Black Thai rice was also sweet so it was a little much. My drink Belle was beautiful and delicious.

The food was sub par. The skirt steak was so tough I could't chew it, and it tasted weird. I didn't eat it. The fries were fine and my drink was delicious. My friend felt the same way about his burger, just fair. However, our server was great. I think you should have busboys rather than expect the servers to preform every task. The atmosphere is spectacular. I wish the food was comparable

View is incredible. We went during sunset and it was gorgeous. Apparently the kitchen was backed up so we waited almost an hour for our dinner, but once it came it was delicious. Steak was cooked to perfection and lobster mashed potatoes were great. The creamed spinach did have a mild coconut taste, which my spouse wasn’t a fan of. The cornbread and chocolate lava cake were both great though. We would dine here again

Food was good when it finally arrived. Appetizers came out right away but the main entree’s took over 1.5 hours(after the apps arrived). This was not an issue for a while, as my family & I entertained each other with conversation. My issue is that neither the server or the manager came to address the matter. They seemingly went into hiding. It was very breezy for that lengthy period of time we were seated outside. We were not moved indoors or even offered to move our seats, out of courtesy for the amount of idle time we sat outside. Not until I got up and requested to be moved, were we moved indoors. The server should come and offers more bread, an appetizer or two or dessert on the house for the extreme inconvenience. Again, we were unbothered at the time but I just thought it reflected poor customer service management.

Our server was AMAZING. I didn’t even have to say anything to him, he knew everything we wanted. It was awesome. It was our first time there, everything was great.

Love the remodeling done to the place. Food and cocktails were fantastic. Our server Jordan made great suggestions and really cared about us having the best experience. Had a great time for my boyfriend’s birthday!
