The service was excellent and very personable. We were there for a special occasion and they went out of their way to make us feel special.

We’d walked by this restaurant a few times and decided to give it a try. Brunch was delicious! The Japanese breakfast was amazing with the delicately roasted salmon, and the fried chicken was incredibly moist and crispy. Definitely worth a try!

We wanted a traditional brunch near our hotel and Open Table has Cassava as a recommendation. It couldn't have been better, with a wonderful croque madame (and really good fries), a great French toast, and a side of eggs and thick-cut meaty bacon. Everything was wonderful and the service was also great. The tip is included in the total bill, so there is nowhere to add an additional tip, so bring cash if you want to tip a little more. Oh, I almost forgot, the mimosas were way above average. Often a mimosa is a little warm, but these were really ice cold, served in a nice little coupe glass. Made for a perfect brunch.

First time dine at this new location for Mother’s Day brunch , little disappointed. Serving plates are chipped. Food quality not what I expected.

Thank you for visiting us for our Mother's Day brunch. Many of our plates have been part of our story since we opened on Balboa Street back in 2012. Most are still in great condition, but a few show a little wear, testimony of how many we have served over the years. We want all of our guests be to be delighted and I apologize that we did not meet our usual standards for your experience. Cassava is a lovely spot in North Beach that offers modern American style with European and fine dining touches. Excellent choice for brunch, lunch or date night dinner, with very professional service.

Service was great. Food was bland, lasagna was disappointing. It tasted like it was made a long time ago and reheated in the microwave.

I was your server and I thank you so much for your encouraging feedback. It was delightful to have you with us. We are aware that we serve people with a wide range of palates. I was so glad to bring crushed chili and calabrian chili paste as you requested, to help tailor the dishes to your taste. Had you asked me at the table, I would have been glad to let you know we make the lasagna fresh. Our kitchen also has two under-stove convection ovens and a large combination convection oven and steamer. We have no need for a microwave.

友人の結婚のお祝いに、15年来のママ友達7人と一緒に伺いました。お祝いと言うことで、お店からシャンパンのサービスを頂きました💕お料理は、3ディッシュにコースを頼みました。量、質共に大満足でした。
