    Excellent service. The starters weee very good burnt ends and sticky ribs. I got the Caesar with steak tips. The meat was great and cooked just right (medium rare), but the salad was a little over dresssed. Other than that, good beer selection and ambience.

    We gave the food 4 stars because 3 of the dishes were cold. Dishes were returned for reheating with no issues. Waitstaff received 5 stars because they were outstanding.Mother’s Day is always a challenge for restaurants and it’s nice to see a pleasant staff.

However, we're disappointed to hear that three of the dishes were cold, which is not up to our usual standards. We're sorry for the inconvenience this caused and appreciate your understanding that we re-heated the dishes without issue.     Always love dining here. Had high top in bar area. Comfortable booth, fantastic food, busy night since it was Mother’s Day evening but service was still great! Food took longer than usual to come out but was phenomenal and worth the wait as always!

    Our waitress was really nice & very good. The deviled eggs app was delicious. I am not typically a fan of fried pickles but theirs was really good along with the dipping sauces. My daughter had the Cesar salad with steak tips & really enjoyed it. My husband had the grilled cheese & brisket sandwich & enjoyed his dish. I ordered the Portuguese steak was unfortunately was not a fan. The steak was cooked perfectly & was a good cut of meat but the gravy was just pure salt so unfortunately couldn’t really enjoy the dish. The waitress was nice enough to take it off the bill as I barely ate it. Overall, a good experience especially for Mother’s Day.

    Plan to wait. Even with reservations plan to wait! Yes it's that popular, yes it's that good. We had 8 pm resys and still waited about 15 minutes. Pity the folks who just walk in. Service was good, even though they were slammed throughout. Food was amazing and the menu choices provided a lot of pondering. Sadly they ran out of brisket before we could get our entrees in, but that's life in a bbq restaurant. Deviled Eggs amazing, burnt ends very tasty and the horsey sauce a nice touch. Pulled pork was plentiful, moist and tender. The only critisism I have is that all of the sides needed just a touch of salt to bring out the flavor. Beer selection is very very robust. This place is worth the trip...almost worth an overnighter but not quite! Oh did I mention that the restaurant noticed it was a day after my birthday and they presented me with a card, signed by the staff and not just genericly handed out...great touch!!

    Ashland was our server last night. She made us feel comfortable and was a very attentive server. This alone made our dining experience quite enjoyable!!

    Drink order was forgotten, 2 plates of food were overcooked, plate of pulled pork was cold and sitting in oil. Server was attentive but constantly forgetting to get things we asked for.
