WELCOME TO CASABLANCA MOROCCAN KITCHENS
The Amazigh (Berber) cuisine is a traditional cuisine with a varied history and influence of numerous flavours from distinct regions across North Africa. The traditional cuisine draws influences from Morocco's Atlas mountains and heavily populated Berber cities and regions. Moroccan cuisine differs from one area to another within North Africa. For this reason, every dish has a distinct and unique identity according to the specific region it originates from in North Africa, with some dishes estimated to be more than a thousand years old. Zayanes of the region of Khénifra around the Middle Atlas have a cuisine of a remarkable simplicity. It is based primarily on corn, barley, ewe's milk, goat cheese, butter, honey, meat, and game. Popular authentic Moroccan preparations of Tunisian, Moroccan, Algerian, and Libyan cuisine include tajine, couscous, shakshouka, pastilla, msemen, merguez, asida, lablabi, harissa, makroudh, harira, sfenj, and ahriche.

Went here to celebrate a friend's birthday and it was the perfect dinner! The service was outstanding and we felt attended to throughout the entire evening, from our waiter to the chef stopping by and asking us how we enjoyed the food. The ambience is beautiful, it is dimly light and you are surrounded by roses and lots of plants. The food was incredibly delicious. We shared the meat sampler and added the eggplant on the side - everything was tasty but the eggplant was our favorite!

Sweet place. Yummy food. Family owned which we lived as owners took our orders and were helpful. Celebrated two birthdays and they comped us some snacks and cake. 💙

The chicken tagine was superb! The service was prompt, friendly, and accommodating. The decor is lovely and the tables are far apart from eachother. All in all a terrific dining experience. I'm looking forward to going back!

Loved, loved the decor, friendliness, and Pastilla. The only reason I did not rate higher is because they were a bit understaffed for Valentines Day. We had to wait a bit to order and between courses. I will go back on a regular day.

One of LAs best! Lamb is a must. Chicken Pastilla is incredible. Salads are out of this world. Hidden Gem on melrose. Family run. Will have you coming back again and again. +Belly Dancing on Friday/Saturday nights.

Wonderful experience! The owners came to greet us and made sure we were having a great experience. The food was fantastic, ambiance was phenomenal. If you are looking for Moroccan food in LA, this is your spot!

Went to Casablanca Moroccan Kitchen during DineLA week. We were all pleasantly surprised. This restaurant is unassuming on the outside as you walk through the kitchen, and opens up to a lovely cozy and quirky seating area. The food was delicious! We started with several salads and then yummy chicken pastilla. We all tried different entree's and I had the Tagine Honey Lamb which was wonderfully tender and a big portion. The owner and her staff were warm and welcoming. Will absolutely go back!!

A lovely little restuarant with a romantic ambience and delicious food. Every course was a treat. The service was very friendly and attentive as well, though could use some work. The entrees came well before we'd finished the course beforehand, which was awkward. Also, as eager as the wait staff may be to hear if we like or need anything, it would be nice to hold off interrupting a conversation before asking. That said, my friends and I had a delightful meal and are definitely planning to come again.

Anis & his staff could not have been friendlier, sweeter, more helpful & overall any nicer than they were. They even helped us with parking as a nearby gallery was hogging all the potentially available parking spaces. The restaurant was charming & restful & the food was delicious! My friend & I adore b'stilla & are delighted to have a place where we can enjoy it again. We split two tangines with a side of couscous & it was overflowing. I'm reserving one star because it would have been nice to be able to also have a glass of wine, but I understand. I was finally able to get an explanation as to why there's such a show in pouring mint tea -- to generate bubbles. We had a lovely evening & will definitely be back.

There was one very good dish which was the lamb tagine. The fish tagine was not good. The baklava was stale. While the covered patio is charming, it is not "outdoor seating" nor a "garden"as I was assured - it is decorated to LOOK like a garden, but is not. The room is entirely enclosed.

I started ordering delivery from here & really enjoyed it, but dining in was a totally different experience! Not only pastilla perfectly flaky, but they always treat us with over the top hospitality. One of my favorite spots to be sure!

If you are looking for one of the best eating experiences reserve a table today. The staff are absolutely amazing! So attentive and treated like family. The food was everything we expected, great flavors blended together. We ordered the vegetable couscous and lemon chicken tagine and was not disappointed. The food is great but made that much better because you get to know who’s making it. Owner operated and they get to know you and you them, just wonderful people passionate about their craft. Mentioned we’re traveling to Morocco very soon and they had so many recommendations and were genuinely excited for us. Can’t recommend this establishment enough. Go eat and enjoy yourselves, you will not be disappointed!

Every time the experience is wonderful. The quality of the food is consistent; so full of warm earthy flavors. We are so fortunate to have a restaurant like this one. I brought a friend from out of town and he commented that he's never had food this good in his home city.

This was a great place for our conference Recap dinner. Our servers gave us great suggestions and had a great knowledge of the menu and the ingredients in each dish for those on specific dietary requirements. A great neighborhood gem, however, you will need to bring your own bottle of wine which they will gladly cork for you. Overall, my group had a great experience and I will return again.

We had a lovely wedding anniversary dinner! Having traveled before in Morocco, we were able to revisit the rich and flavorful Berber food for which we hoped, in every detail. The lamb tagines, salads, fresh bread, mint tea, and almond pastry were all delicious. The warm welcome and comfortable atmosphere were perfect. Thank you Naima annd Sanan for a memorable evening. We will be back!

Impeccable service! Naima made us feel right at home. She took her time in explaining the menu and everything was delicious. We were extremely impressed by the fact that they were able to accommodate a guest with many allergies and came up with a delicious meal for him as well. Next time we are in Hollywood we will definitely be visiting!

I had the pleasure of dining with group of freinds, a cozy and authentic Moroccan restaurant that serves delicious comfort food with a twist. The owner and chef came over to chat with us, that was a treat. He uses fresh ingredients and spices to create mouthwatering dishes that transport you to Morocco. The menu has a variety of options for vegetarians, fish and meat lovers. I ordered the vegetable 3 course menu with vegetable tagine with apricots and almonds, which was tender, juicy and flavorful. The couscous was fluffy and light, and the salad was crisp and refreshing. The portions were super generous and satisfying. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The restaurant has a colorful decor with Moroccan lanterns, rugs and cushions. The music was soothing and relaxing. I highly recommend dining here to anyone who loves Moroccan food or wants to try something new. It is one of the best restaurants in town, but it is underrated and deserves more recognition. Don’t miss this hidden gem!

First we were greeted by the owner chef and his lovely wife............very homey and comfortable....Then the delicious and outstanding foods arrived.....great service and wonderful food and evening......We will be regulars! Inviting all our friends. Just to think this wonderful, cute Moroccan themed restaurant is so close ...cannot wait to visit again.... P.S. You can bring a bottle of wine.......no corkage fee
