We offer a house baked bread basket to accompany our authentic Italian menu in a relaxed atmosphere with a well appointed bar. We have the best patio with a fireplace in Birmingham called “Piazza”

We are open Tuesday-Friday from 4 pm to 5 pm for Happy Hour. Only the Happy Hour menu will be available during that hour.

Seating was prompt. John was our server and was both helpful and entertaining. Service was excellent. Menu is extensive and covers all the traditional italian offerings. Wonderful Mothers day dinner.

Great service and delicious dinner options. The enclosed porch provides a great pet friendly dining location, even when the weather isn't so great.

Wonderful find. Nice atmosphere, not noisy until toward the end of our dinner when a table for 8 was seated and they were pretty energetic. Great Caesar said, very good pasta but the highlight was the bread. Outstanding. Attentive waitstaff. Will come back and sit at wonderful patio, weather permitting.

Great food, great service (Jonathan was very attentive) the space was nice and the chairs in particular were very comfortable. Only downside is that it was very loud.

Freshness of food was excellent. I would HIGHLY recommend Cacio e Pepe pasta.....the best in town. Love all of their breads are made daily.

everything is PERFECT at Casa Pernoi! The food is very good and the service is 2nd to none! Anthony has been our server numerous times and is amazing as is JB! It's one of our favorite restaurants of all time!

We made reservations 2 weeks ago to celebrate some birthdays. There were 4 of us. All 4 of us have dined there before and loved it. Not this time. They opened up the outside patios and filled all tables inside and out because the evening ended up being lovely outside. But, it was obvious they did not have enough staff to handle all of these tables The Server was scarce and insisted we order all courses at once. Then the food took an extremely long time and was lukewarm. Oysters were great. Disappointing when we had planned this celebration weeks in advance. If you do not have the staff don’t open up so many tables to walk ins.

Got seated at the worst table in the house right next to the main entrance, arms length away from the hostess.

Took them a long time to give us another chair for our party. Server told us he has a huge party behind us and that he wasn’t going to be as attentive to us. Weird!!!!! The helpers were nice.

What appears to be a new manager was extremely rude in telling us he needed our table. Was celebrating a small group for a birthday. His exact words were “I need that table”. There are many many kinder choices of words to tell a table that you need their table especially at a nicer restaurant

We had a fabulous evening at Pernoi! Allison our waiter was very attentive and spot on. Our food was fabulous! We started with a burrata salad and also the Greek salad. Both were outstanding! 2 of us had the eggplant special and added a meatball and the others had the bolognese and the veal scallopini. All were absolutely fantastic and we were able to take home some leftovers home! We will return very soon! We sat on the patio which was ok but we will choose to sit inside next time!

Really enjoyed our meal. Delicious Italian food. One of the best bronzinos that I ever had. Appetizers were great. Excellent pasta!

Wonderful meal from start to finish. Excellent cocktail and wine by glass selection. Beef carpaccio best we have ever had in US. Rabbit and cacio e pepe were splendid. Amanda was a great server, knew her stuff.

The food was seriously amazing. The waitstaff was really nice and on point with everything! There were multiple birthdays happening so it was a bit loud but not too much as to ruin the ambiance. The decorations were so cute and simple. Drinks were amazingly crafted and certainly not light handed!

We had the most incredible experience. The food, the ambiance, and the entire staff were amazing. Anthony took great care of us and was very knowledgeable about the menu. We already made reservations to come back again.

Outstanding food and service! Food overall excellent- homemade bread, beer salad, Caesar salad, homemade pasta and Argentinian salmon. Service was top notch. The only negative was the noise level of the restaurant. Tables are very close together and sometimes hard to hear others in your party. The food is definitely pricey and not for everyday dining (for us at least), but we will definitely return for special occasions as probably the best quality Italian food we have ever had. Thanks!

Food was excellent with attentive but not intrusive service. Thought the value for our pasta and king salmon was great for this level of dining experience. Next time I will request a room in the enclosed, lighted atrium. Very cool! Will definitely return soon!

Nice locale . Server and staff attentive without being overly obtrusive. However, the noise level in the restaurant was unacceptable. We were having trouble hearing each other at the table and it was only a table of four. I don’t know if I’ll be back.
