Created by Ivo Diaz, The Nomad and Eleven Madison Park mixologist, and resident abuela and Executive Chef Isbelis Diaz. Casa Ora is a family owned and operated Venezuelan-American Fine Dining restaurant located in East Williamsburg. We serve refined farm-to-table plates and modern cocktails.

We are focused on bringing the beauty and nature of Venezuela to New York City. In times of political injustice upon Venezuelans, Casa Ora is dedicated to donating a portion of profits to families forced to seek asylum due to lack of human rights resources such as food, clean water, and government protection.

The food was absolutely phenomenal and you feel transported as soon as you walk inside. The ambiance was wonderful, not pretentious, but it felt elevated. The service was lovely from the host to the runners. My sister and I took advantage of the pre-fixe Mothers Day menu which was well worth the price for all the food we received. We were very full and had to take things to go! Definitely book here, you will not be disappointed. Great place to take a date, friends, or family. Thank you Casa Ora for making Mothers Day so special!

Everything was pretty good, had a great time. Went for date night and when we arrived table wasn’t ready they put us at the bar but table was ready right when we got our drinks. Wasn’t a long wait, we didn’t mind. Food and drinks made up for it. Will definitely be going back to try other things on the menu.

Made a reservation and no table available had to sit at bar, which was a turnoff. But the food made up for it. Best Gnocchi I ever had. Wife had the fish also very delicious.

We met here for my friends Birthday. We had an 8pm reservation which we arrived for on time. Our table was not ready so we were offered to sit at the bar. Luckily there were 4 seats to accomodate all of us. The mixologist were great, very attentive and put on a show as he mixed our cocktails. The venue is beautiful. We were seated about 30 minutes after we arrived. The ceviche was amazing as was the shrimp appetizer. However, all of our entrees were over cooked and we could not enjoy them. 2 of my friends ordered medium steaks which were served well done. The birthday girl and I ordered the Paella and the octopus and clams were over cooked while the rice was under cooked. Our waitress was very accomodating and kind.

Lovely dinner. Great cocktails, excellent service. Food was delicious. Atmosphere is loud like most everywhere in NY, but it’s a pretty spot with the type of lighting I like. Sweet bar. Plus a fun crowd. We really enjoyed our dinner, overall, and will definitely return.

We were looking forward to our meal based on the online menu. But when we got there, our table was not ready and I think the hostess said “you were 5 minutes late so we gave the table to a walk-in”. However I can’t be 100% sure given her heavy accent, and especially since most restaurants usually have a 15 minute grace. The long story short is that we waited an additional 15 minutes until we were seated in the outdoor glass house under the heating lamps that made it feel like we were in the rainforest. The service was friendly and relatively quick once we were seated. The food was heavy, plentiful, and moderately priced. I just wish someone had told us to stop ordering more food after we were done with our appetizers. Both the restaurant itself, and the glass house were extremely loud, with the bigger boisterous groups seated in the glass house. Therefore easy conversation for our 3 person group was a bit strained. Overall, we walked away thinking eeeeh! In a city with amazing restaurants, I don’t think we’ll be coming back soon.

Great food and service. The place has a great atmosphere. The only thing to improve would maybe put larger tables away from smaller tables. The noise level from large tables is insane. Loved the sauces

the food came our in good timing for a seating of 7. unfortunately we didn't feel many of the dishes that were sharable were that sharable. The ambiance is great and the staff is friendly enough. I don't think any of us were blown away.

Brought my girlfriend to try some authentic Venezuelan cuisine and casa ora did not disappoint, from the arepitas and empanadas to the hallacas and pabellon the food was a delight. The dark lit ambiance was perfect as well, and the beauty of the green room was a beautiful sight. It does get a little noisy and pretty packed after 2000hrs so I recommend to go before then if you want more of a romantic feel. The cocktails were amazing I recommend the Peligrosa trust. Overall amazing definitely will go again with the fam. Thank you

what a wonderful restaurant! cocktails were delicious, the ambience was very nice, and the food really opened our eyes to a cuisine that we hadn’t experienced often before. the whole experience was great. would highly recommend.

Despite the inclement weather, we were warmly welcomed and seated in their lovely greenhouse. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience special, even providing complimentary dessert for our birthday celebration. Each team member we interacted with was friendly and attentive, ensuring our needs were met throughout the meal. The restaurant was spotless, and the food was fresh and delicious. While prices may be slightly higher, the exceptional service and quality make it worth budgeting for. Highly recommended

The main entrees were delicious. The appetizers such as cachapa(lacked flavor), mandoncas (lacked crunchiness). The cocktails were very good as well as the desserts. The gnioches were good but I don’t believe it should be priced as high as the fish. Overall it was a good experience.

Great restaurant and the food is amazing. Appetizers are a must, very tasty and you want everything! The entrees were spectacular -we had the red snapper and the beef, would not be able to tell which one was better, really really good. The service was excellent and so was the dessert. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Love the cocktails. They are all so good and on the cheaper side than most places All the foods were well prepared and was delicious. The server was so busy in sometimes later in our dining. The decor and everything looks very cool and what you expect from the restaurant looking at it from outside.

Went with a friend on a Wednesday 7pm and had a great time. We had some questions regarding the menu and our waitress nicely explained and gave us suggestions. Food was really good and the ambience was perfect for catching up. Would recommend.

The server didn’t come to our table for over 30 minutes after we were seated. Flavor was great, but our entrees weren’t hot when it got to our table.

It is an amazing place, they managed to capture the authentic flavors of Venezuelan food, which brought all kind of reminiscences of our country. But they do it I a very refined way. Also, the cocktails were creative and well balanced. Excelent experience. We are planning to visit again soon!

Celebrated a birthday at Sat brunch. First time here - enjoyed our meal and the ambience. Service was excellent, our server kept our water glasses filled and checked on our table often. We ordered ceviche appetizer, arepas pernil, Venezuelan french toast - all excellent and the food came out quickly. Great drink menu. Looking forward to our next family get-together here. Highly recommend!
