Casa Nova Grill specializes in providing the best Brazilian food and barbecue (rodizio). We are a five-star restaurant, rated by New York Times as a five-star rodizio in the trip-state area. Owned and operated by Jose Moreira, a pioneer restauranteur in Newark, New Jersey, Casa Nova Grill was opened on November 30, 1992. We proudly serve, with a seating area of 250, with a private party room. We provide catering services and provide full party planning and execution for baptisms, children's birthday parties, weddings, and any other special occasion! We provide our customers with a convenient parking lot across the premises.

    Food was cold. Salmon over cooked. Service was fine. Limited menu which should have been indicated when booked.

    My 4th visit to Rodizio. First was in Washington, twice in South Africa. Always great food and ambience.

    The meats were extremely salty. The sides were good but not worth the $75 per person. We also got sangria (wine/ red). We were celebrating my 58 birthday but have no plan to return!

    Since you arrived you receive a good service, the food is excellent and the waitres helpfull. Highly recommended.

    They have raised there prices dramatically and some of the meatt was very over cooked. This used to be my favorite restaurant but now I think they have priced me out of going there again

    I was there to celebrate my husband's birthday. When we walked in, we stood at the door for about 5 to 10 minutes without being acknowledged. We finally were just seated. We then waited another 10 minutes just to get water or any attention at all. Then the waitress came, but you could obviously tell she was preoccupied with other things. The food finally came, and it was FABULOUS. When it was time to pay, I had to ask for the bill and waited 15 minutes to get it. Then I had to actually ask another waiter to process my payment. The service was not the best at all but the food was good. I'm up in the air if I would return.

    This is one of the worse places and worst meals I have ever had . The service was terrible and the waiters were rude . Don’t waste your ring and money

    Very bright … obtrusively so. Service was eh, as my order (octopus) was incorrect the first time. Steamed veggies were lifeless and the garden “salad” was sad. I piece of lettuce. Server didn’t really check on us. Wont be back.
