    So loud. As in, 85 dB on my meter. Food was phenomenal; service was excellent. But my ears were still ringing 10 minutes after leaving the restaurant.

    One of the best dinners we’ve had in the city. The scallops with serrano curry were the absolute highlight of the meal. Truly the best scallop dish I’ve ever had. The duck was a close second. Razor clams were also great but in a basic butter/garlic/herb sauce - which was great but flavors that I have tasted at many other places. So get them, but don’t skip the other stuff! We had our server pick our food and wine pairings and she did a great job.

    My husband and I enjoyed very much our lunch at Casa Mono. The Jamón Pata Negra was outstanding. Our table was outdoors in the shade, so no problem with extreme heat or sunshine.

    Absolutely loved every dish we got. The Fluke Crudo is a must, I could drink the sauce. Same with the Pan con Tomate and Skirt Steak. Get the Pazo Señorans Alberiño if you want a light white wine

    This was our third time at Casa Mono. We love this restaurant. The food is always amazing and our server was helpful and friendly. We hope to keep returning. With this in mind, we do have some criticism. Firstly, I tried to cancel on open table more than 24 hours prior to the reservation. Open table would not allow me. I was at work and unable to call to cancel until the evening prior. I explained this to them and they said they would charge me $50 a person to cancel. I understand why they have this rule in place but they would not budge, even when I explained. We weren't a no show. We are repeat customers. I feel like they should have been more flexible. So we made it work. We showed up. We booked outside but the weather was uncomfortable. They were booked inside, which I understood so we opted for the bar. Except the air conditioning wasn't on and it was very hot by the stoves. So we asked to move outside. There was no one sitting outside at all but instead of the host offering to seat us under an awning, she offered us a table on the corner by the crosswalk and near a puddle. I had to ask to sit under an awning. This restaurant is great but there is an attitude they have that WE should be grateful to be there instead of the other way around.

    Great and interesting menu. Excellent preparation and presentation. Inventive. Fine wine list.Excellent service. Depending on weather, seating may be air-conditioned or open air whether inside or out.
