"The Casa Italia Pizzeria and Pastificcio is one of Liverpool’s longest-established eateries and we have been serving the people of Liverpool for over 40 years.

We are a popular, authentic Italian restaurant with a great atmosphere be it day or night. Known for our fresh ingredients, generous portions and the best value Italian wine, low prices make us affordable for everyone.

We are a bustling eatery with traditional Italian interior, we seat 120 downstairs and the upstairs is available for booking parties and functions for up to 60 people. All food is prepared on the premises daily from the pizza dough right down to the home-made tiramisu.

Been going here for over 40 years, but not been since covid. Bloomin marvellous, the Torteloni Alforno is still totally scrummy. Love this place,

Good food, great price, amazing staff! Came as party of a hen do weekend and the staff were so good, really helpful and friendly, food came quick, overall really happy - would definitely recommend

Booked for a large group to celebrate our son’s 21st, every interaction was great, warm and friendly. On arrival they were professional and patient, our waiter was brilliant and we had the most lovely time; food was excellent, thank you

We are regulars and it never disappoints, booked for seven of us, great atmosphere, service great, food superb as always great value for money, we only ever go here when in liverpool, son comes to visit regular from Essex, best Italian around

We were so looking forward to returning to Casa Italia - a favourite with both our kids as they were growing up. This was our first time back as a family with our now grown up daughters & my 80 year old mum, altogether for the Mothers Day weekend for the first time in many years. It was therefore incredibly disappointing that we could honestly hardly hear ourselves speak over the noise of the music from the club downstairs. We had to shout over the constant thud thud thud from beneath us. I did ask if we could be moved but was told that you were too busy - it was Saturday teatime & the restaurant was packed. The food was as great as we remembered & came quickly etc but the whole evening was blighted by the overwhelming & incredibly intrusive music from beneath us. Such a huge shame.

For Italian food in Liverpool, you'd be an idiot to go anywhere other than Casa. My review here doesn't need to be a lengthy one - if you're wanting pizza or pasta (especially pasta) and are in the area, Casa Italia is worth the queue. I'd especially recommend any of the oven baked pastas, and their dessert menu is also not one you want to skip!

First time here since the 1980s and it hasn’t changed. Still standard homely, hearty Italian food. First impressions were spoiled by a rude member of staff on arrival. Waiting staff were efficient but unfriendly. I don’t understand why the place is so popular? We wouldn’t go again but the queues outside on a Sunday afternoon suggest it won’t be going out of business. There are far friendlier and better places to eat in Liverpool city centre.

This was a family lunch as my son will be away on Mothers Day. We had a lovely meal, the food was really good and the service was quick. Have eaten here many times and will be back

A beautiful experience from start to finish, took a party of 10 and was very anxious as I’d never been out for a meal with a party that big. The whole experience was smooth and seamless and we were extremely well looked after.

There was a party of 20, everyone said there food was lovely, they all came out hot, the service was amazing and the staff couldn't of been nicer, I would highly recommend you, thank you so much for a lovely evening

The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the food was fine and well presented. Although a Saturday night, there were few diners, so little atmosphere/ambiance. In addition, we were offered tables in the centre on the room, whereas there were cosier tables available. The background music was a nice selection, but was a little loud, bearing in mind the few people in the room. Price for two was £80 for main and suite, with a bottle of wine, which is fair.

It was a party of 7. Good serving size. value for money is desirable. It was our first time to go out in Casa Italia. It did exceeds our expectation and the ambience of the restaurant is in par with the ones from Italy. Must try their carbonarra and lasagna. Grande lasagna is good for sharing.

I took 17 people with me, it was difficult to hear what the waiter was saying but food was delivered on time and it was very good good and good size portions.

Absolutely gorgeous place for food. We booked as a party of 7. The restaurant was busy with it being tea time. But we wasn't left waiting. Food came piping hot. The staff always go above and beyond. They are so friendly. I've been coming here for over 30 years since I was a child.

Me & my family LOVE the Casa, best Italian restaurant, lovely staff, brilliant service and amazing food! We love the atmosphere as well. The family have been going since it opened, I’ve been going my whole life, over 30 years. We’ve never been let down!

Booked a table for 9 people to celebrate my Daughter’s 16th birthday. She picked Casa Italia as it’s her favourite restaurant in Liverpool - we were seated quickly, staff were very attentive, our food arrived at the same time and everyone said their meals were lovely. Staff brought a cake to the table and sang ‘happy birthday’ to my Daughter. We had a lovely night - thank you! Would highly recommend to all.
