Located in a classic Spanish building in the heart of beautiful Montrose, Casa Cordoba presents a truly immersive experience where Angelenos can step out of the hustle and bustle of their daily lives and experience a Taste of Spain.

Oh my goodness where do I start? What a fabulous evening… the service was outstanding the food was incredible, the ambience was amazing. I cannot wait to come back. There were three of us and we enjoyed everything immensely, every single dish was delicious. So, so tasty… so fresh. Our server was Richard. He was perfect! So friendly, personable and helpful choosing the perfect dishes. Seriously

We had 2 tapas (toast w chorizo, pork belly) they were delicious, also the flan type desert was very tasty We shared the seafood paella; it was very bland in flavor, since we did not have follow up attention from our waiter we were unable to even get salt and/or pepper. The table we had was in a little alleyway disappointing since the rest of the restaurant is charming. We could not be reseated since it was very busy (we made the reservation weeks in advance The bar staff was great! Wine was good.

Receptionist in front was rude and took her 5 minutes to acknowledge me while I was standing in front of her. Waitress did not know the menu, zero personality, was irritated when we asked questions. She neglected and still collected a gratuity for doing nothing. Worst idea to celebrate mother's day

Nice restaurant and friendly staff. However, the paella was not so authentic and most of the food was served lukewarm. It might have been because it was full for mother's day but when you are paying full price, you should at least get the food served hot.

It was a full lovely experience, they had live music and the ambient waterfall. Service take a while, so have a conversation ready or you’ll be sitting in ambiantic silence

The service and the food was amazing! Our server was super friendly helpful funny he made the experience very enjoyable! There’s only one thing that was not pleasant the bathrooms were dirty, specifically the toilets in both bathrooms. I think if they put more effort on that the experience would have been 100%.

Honestly, I liked the place. The ambience, the staff, even the food.. tho it was a bit pricey. I chose this place hoping for authentic Spanish paella… of all the food that we ordered 3 appetizers, 2 paella dishes and 2desserts, only 2 dishes were not so good. The best paella we had was the Marinera.. I also ordered the Casa Cordova paella thinking it was just like a typical paella valenciana but it was very disappointing. The chicken was very dry, and the duck was sparse and dry. Also, we ordered the Natilla thinking it was the typical Crème Catalana or custard or flan but it was this watery based pudding. I want to give a shout out to the two servers as they comped the 2 desserts and just being very nice since it’s was bf’s bday. Over all I would go back to Casa Córdoba to try their other dishes…

Fantastic food, served quickly. Service was mixed. We were seated by a very friendly hostess. We were indoors next to the bar, and our waiter was the bartender. Although he was friendly, he was not attentive and did not check in with us. We had to call him to the table. He seemed much more interested in talking to his clients at the bar. He didn't even know what kind of cheese was on our meat and cheese platter. Nonetheless, we had a good time, and the tapas were excellent--especially the shrimp and mushroom served on grilled bread.

Really like the place's atmosphere. The guitarist was really good, the service was great. The only downfall is that the food was ok. The food is a little over priced and the bread was bland as well as the butter. We will most likely come again but we will eat at home and just have drinks and a desert. I highly recommend going for the old style Spanish atmosphere. The entertainment was really good.

We have eaten here previously and, overall, the food has been quite good. However, yesterday, I was not overly pleased with the salmon, which was extremely dry. Unfortunately, Casa Cordoba has cut back on its waitstaff, which meant that I had to get out of my seat several times to look for our waiter......who was doing double duty as the bartender.

Casa Cordoba is a hidden gem. Took my son, his wife and 2 young children. We were seated in the courtyard. The weather and service was fabulous and the meal was just lovely. I couldn't recommend this restaurant more highly.

Ambiance and music was the only good thing about this place. Both service and food were 0/5. The paella was so dry it was a choking hazard. The appetizers, dinner and drinks were all substandard. The service was below substandard. We asked for things 3-4 times before we got any items to our table. We invited a party of 6 and we’re celebrating a 50th birthday…I was so embarrassed in front of my guests by this place and how lousy it was. Never again!

This restaurant never disappoints. The food is incredible and the menu changes every quarter and the food selection is still great every time. The seafood paella and the tapas taste amazing. The servers are very attentive. Overall, love the food, service, ambiance.

Really hopefully for music and dancing. Not really what it hypes itself to be. Experience and service was really poor. Food was pretty bland and servers were moving around heaters without considering other guests. Really bad. Don’t go if any weather is anything other than perfect. They won’t know how to handle it. Also very cramped. Had people rubbing up against me as I sat to eat the whole night.

Our dinner was delicious…everything really! Mariscos de la Casa was my main dish and the broth was amazing with the grilled bread! The service was slow but very friendly. (The menu states that it is appreciated that a table only be held for 2 hours. That was impossible because it took three hours to get all drinks and ordered food and the check.) But our friends also loved the food. A great neighborhood choice for dinner. We shall return.

Service was awful. Waiter was not attentive. I wanted salt & pepper after my food was delivered and could not find the waiter for more than 20 minutes. I kept waiting for him to return and he never did--so my food got cold. My entre was delivered by itself...and I was told my wife's entree "was coming." My waiter was still missing and I couldn't get my salt & pepper when I managed to call over a waitress from another table and tell her my wife's food never came. She went & checked why it was late and returned and said..."the chef will get around to it soon." A terrible answer. When 2 people come to dinner BOTH people should be served at the same time. Food was good, but mine got cold waiting 20 minutes for salt & my wife's was way too late.

As usual the food was delicious. We focused our meal on a variety of tapas, all with great flavor. This time we ordered a pitcher of the red sangria, which I must say is as delicious as the white! We will continue to go there. The food has great flavor without it being overpowering from the subtleties of garlic to anchovies and sherries. This place is always an incredible experience for my taste buds.

It’s a family friendly place that has something for everyone. The large charcuterie board was great for sharing and gambas and croquetas were very tasty! The live music kept our kids entertained. Service was ok, our drinks took a while and then they forgot about one of them but otherwise service was fine. This might be our friday early dinner spot!

This was our second visit to Casa Cordoba after a lovely first visit. It was V Day with a prix fix of $75 - seemingly reasonable. We opted to share a seafood paella for two (as this dish counted as two entrees per the prix fix [foregoing the steak or chicken each]). This was a mistake. The paella arrived (an hour after our starter course) and was a meager serving of rice with two small shrimps and one piece of octopus and it didn't include any other seafood despite the menu mentioning mussels. It might have sufficed as a single entree but for two it was a woefully small portion. It didn't help that the restaurant was understaffed, or that our starters arrived at different times so when the main entree finally made its way to our table we were starved. When I mentioned our concern to the server he acknowledged that numerous patrons had the same complaint and the chef had made this decision to make the entree paella so small. Something to do with past prix fix menu dishes being wasted due to portion control errors. Anyway, the whole experience was disappointing and nowhere close to the "Valentine's Day Feast" the restaurant advertised. I want to say that the food quality, flavor profile was really delicious -- and it's clear that the chefs take care to prepare the food to order here. Perhaps the kitchen was running low on ingredients by the time our 8:30p reservation was seated but we left feeling hungry which after spending $180+ with tax and tip so which was terrible value. I would be happy to discuss with Casa Cordoba directly if someone would like to reach out and will send this same message directly to give them an opportunity to help make this right.

Can only speak for the Valentines Day menu and experience. Overall subpar unfortunately as we did have high hopes. For the pros the ambiance was beautiful and the outdoor area was warm. Pricing wasn’t too bad compared to other set menu places. Cons: Food was underwhelming, courses wouldn’t come at the same time, about 15-25 minute gaps for two of the courses. Bizarre as it was a set menu. Server was very kind but definitely overwhelmed and didn’t round very often. Maybe the experience would be better during their regular service but probably won’t be back based of the above.

This was the first time in my life that I've left hungry after a prix fixe meal (Valentine's Day with my wife.) Food was just OK, except for the Basque Cheesecake, which was delicious. Portions were stingy for every course. Main course was three small scallops, less than 3 oz of meat, on a plate with a non-descript sauce and a spoonful of corn kernels. Service was inexperienced and inattentive (perhaps chalk that up to needing temp staff for Valentine's Day.) FINALLY: I ordered a glass of Chardonnay for $18 and had do send it back because it was so bad - no acidity, no alcohol, no varietal character. It was clearly made from grapes that hadn't ripened properly. When I got home, I looked it up - Albret Chardonnay - and found out that it normally sells for $10/bottle.

The food is quite tasty. If you plan to have paella be prepared to wait 45 minutes to an hour. We had squid ink seafood paella that was pretty fresh and ordered the kale and beet salad and some ibérica ham and manchego cheese to pass the time. The place seemed understaffed so weren’t all that attentive, but were overall very friendly.

We have had tapas in many places and these tapas were okay, but nothing special. Unfortunately, the hot tapas were lukewarm. Our server worked very hard, but had too many tables, so things took longer than expected.

It was cold at the table where we were seated. They did not have enough warmers for comfort. Portion sizes were too small for their prices. The place is overrated. Underwhelmed and disappointed. I’m never going back.

The food is excellent and the patio dining area looks welcoming. We had the unfortunate experience of some incredibly rude guests who were surprised by “friends “ and spent 30 minutes standing and chatting/laughing and giving no regard for anyone else in the room. The waiter tried to make things better and was very apologetic. This tragic experience should not and would not detract from the excellent food! Thank you 🙏

It was our first time here. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We opted to sample multiple tapas to get a variety of things to try. Our table of four also split a paella for two and it was just the right amount split four ways. One vegetarian diner at our table liked that there were options they could happily eat (especially the vegetarian paella). Drinks were served quickly. We loved the live music. I went to tip the guitar player but there was no tip jar! Give the musicians a chance to earn tips easily.

Food was surprisingly good. We had a big group so we could share and try different things. The service was exemplary. Wish we had more live entertainment. The music was good though, but we couldn’t see the guitarist from where we sat. Nevertheless. We would definitely go back there.
