Casa Calavera includes a main dining room and full-service bar, an outdoor patio overlooking Virgin Hotels Las Vegas’ resort pool, and several intricately-themed traditional altars curated as photo opportunities. Each area is fabricated in Mexican tiles, reclaimed wood, calavera skulls, traditional Mexican furniture, authentic posters, and bright marigold flowers.

Waited 1 hr and 20 for our food! We walked out. Took forever to get chips and salsa and guac. Was there to celebrate Mother’s Day. Me n my sister are pregnant so we were really starving. Unbelievable! Never again! Should have said on the front the wait time is over an hr!!!

The service was slow, prices were high and the menu and food were average at best. Chips and salsa didn't come out for 30 minutes. We ordered guac which was very small at $18 and had we known about the chips and salsa we would've skipped it. The salsa was too spicy to please everyone.

Overall ok experience. Definitely pricey but I guess everything is in Las Vegas. Food quality was mediocre. Great presentation but lacked some flavor.

Great service, Quick to seat! Food was pricey, but very good. Draft Beer and Margaritas are very $$$. Too bad they charge for chips and salsa. We still ordered the Chips and salsa, an Appetizer 2 entrees and 3 drinks.

Ordered the chicken enchiladas they were not sitting well with my pallet whatsoever. Also ordered the octopus appetizer, which was a bit of a letdown to legs of an octopus, and the rest is just grass food not really worth the money ordered some margaritas that were heavy heavy on alcohol

We had reservations so I took us within five minutes of arrival. They took us to our table. They took over 20 minutes to even bring us water and take our order. They took our order, took even longer for them to bring us our food and get refills was nonexistent. They had a live DJ, which was at a table in front of us and the music was so loud. We could hardly hear each other talk. Food was good but not worth the wait.

We will DEFINITELY!!! be coming back here again!! The food was AMAZING!! For appetizers we got the street corn and the chicken taquitos which were to die for and for entrees we got the carnitas tacos and al pastor tacos were beyond delicious and soooooooo tender!! I give it all a 100/100

The food was delicious, the Caesar salad had a different spin on it and was very enjoyable. The only comment I would make is the salmon was not 8 oz as advised by the server.

The food is full of flavor and the restaurant is beautiful but I will say the size of my Tortilla for my tacos were the size of my palm of my hand so most of the meat just fell out.

We love coming here! Fun menu, good margaritas. The music was a little loud, but it was a Friday in Vegas. We had the tacos and the enchiladas. Excellent service and colorful ambiance.

The tamale w short rib was incredible. The chicken enchiladas; stunning. Our server? perfectly kind and attentive. Sunset margarita was also honorable mention. The noise level is unholy (think Drais and XS combined times 2) There is no reason the music in a restaurant should be so loud you can’t hear the person sitting next to you, your server or your own thoughts. Great food, great service, great prices even! (especially for vegas!). Lovely decor and vibe but the noise level alone would make me not want to ever return.

Carne asada tacos had a very good taste. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the wand menu. Food came out quickly. Chips and salsa were fresh. Would definitely go back.
