First, the atmosphere, lighting and decor are spot on. Felt like we were in a very high class restaurant in Mexico City. Second, the service was some of the best I’ve received in New York City. The drink menu was specialized to the cuisine and excellent. We all loved our cocktails. we started with the house made guacamole and it was delicious and the homemade fried tortillas that came with it were outstanding. As for dinner, two of us share the Conchinita Pabil, which was some of the best Mexican pork I’ve ever tasted. The enchilada was outstanding, and the tacos truly are a work of art. Finished with the churros which were very very good, and I am very picky about churros and usually disappointed. Would highly recommend putting this on my list of places to come back to New York. And that is a short list, because there are so many amazing restaurants in the city I hate repeating myself.

We came for the amazing cocktails and were delighted by the food: the aguachile is now on my list of favorite dishes in New York. The flavors in everything we tried were layered and delicious. Service was friendly and attentive and the space is beautiful. We'll definitely be back.

A place on Bowery without the typical “you are lucky to be eating here” attitude. Creative and delicious Mexican menu with fab cocktail creations. Not a quiet place but I gave lost that battle below 14th street.

Excellent food and drinks. Service very friendly but a bit slow at times. Made up for it with free after dinner drinks. This place is definitely worth a visit. Nice ambiance. The place got louder as the night wore on, as is to be expected! Overall a very good experience.

This was a great find from an Athleisure recommendation. This isn't typical Mexican food. They're recipes from a small village. Their guacamole was best I had. They had a delicious spicy lobster guacamole which was spectacular. We also had the prime rib slices with special sauce and some form of fondue. Their desserts and drinks were very different and excellent. we will definitely be back!!

Walk in the restaurant and it has this smell reminding you Tulum…. palo santo like, server was very attentive through the night, food tested so fresh and the drinks were the perfect paring. I came for my brother’s birthday and we had an amazing time, for sure I’ll be celebrating mine here as well.

The food was good but the menu is limited, portions were ok for us but would be considered on the small side by most. A $200 experience including grats for 2 people with only one alcoholic drink.

My sister and I had a wonderful dinner. The boss or manager is very nice and attentive. I really like this restaurant. Also the food and drinks are very delicious. I definitely recommend this place

Good drinks but otherwise not great. The waiter told us we chose all the worst options and talked us into others - honestly it seemed like they had extra seafood that needed to be offloaded. Result was we were served a bunch of food we didn’t really want or like. Much better options for good Mexican cuisine in nyc

Shrimp ceviche was indifferent, the traditional guacamole was very good though the portion was perhaps a little parsimonious. Both our main dishes were excellent. The tomatillo sauce with the enchiladas suizas was authentic and flavorful and the crema was applied sparingly in place of the usual overdose. The tasty cochinita pibil was paired with warm tortillas that appeared freshly made. Both plates could have used more spice but you always have to ask. The service was exemplary, and the noise level even with a full house very manageable. We ordered the desserts to sample, and while each had a surprisingly inventive appearance to our taste they were unremarkable. With taxes and tip, and no alcohol, we ended up at around $100 each, which while expensive is what you have to pay almost everywhere you go and why we don’t venture out too often. We gave Casa Bond a generous rating because the food overall was good and we received a warm and attentive welcome on a cold Friday night out in the city.
