Le Carnivore est le premier steakhouse de Milwaukee et l'un des plus acclamés lorsqu'on parle de fine cuisine dans le Wisconsin. Ce restaurant est toujours en tête de liste des « Best Of ». Il a été reconnu pour la variété de ses goûts culinaires, entre autre pour sa coupe de boeuf alléchante et ses filets désossés. Le menu de biftecks propose un boeuf exquis, humide et vieilli à point de catégorie USDA, une distinction accordée à moins de 2% de tous les boeufs américains. On y retrouve également la viande tant convoitée, le « Wagyu », importée du Japon. On propose aussi une carte des vins avec plus de 400 sélections. Vous trouverez toujours la bouteille parfaite qui se marie bien avec votre repas. Carnevor Steakhouse Moderne, situated in the heart of downtown Milwaukee, has been a top-tier fine dining spot since its debut in 2006. Celebrated for its outstanding steak selection, Carnevor offers USDA Prime and Japanese Wagyu beef, along with fresh seafood and an array of shareable sides. Executive Chef Mario Giuliani helms the kitchen, ensuring the restaurant consistently lands on "best of" lists for its superb culinary experiences. In January 2016, Carnevor moved to 718 N. Milwaukee Street, the former location of Umami Moto. This relocation brought a revamped menu and refreshed interior, enhancing the restaurant's sophisticated dining ambiance. The new space includes a temperature-controlled wine cellar and retains a similar seating capacity to its previous site. Here’s how my experience unfolded… The meal began with a delightful half loaf of bread accompanied by whipped garlic butter, perfect for dipping in the Wagyu Jus. The Wagyu Brisket appetizer set the tone for the evening, featuring braised Feller’s Ranch Wagyu beef, potato gnocchi, and brisket jus. For the main course, I opted for the 16-ounce Bone-in Fillet Au Poivre. This wet-aged, bone-in tenderloin was cooked to a flawless 146° and served with morel mushrooms and a decadent lobster mac & cheese, enhanced with Parmesan, goat cheese, and bleu cheese. To conclude, I chose a unique dessert: blood orange sorbet, paired perfectly with my signature cappuccino. Carnevor offers valet parking, an elegant setting, excellent service, and outstanding cuisine, making it a must-visit on any culinary journey. My server, Michael, was exceptional, and I appreciated the attention to detail, such as a staff member dedicated to keeping my glass full. A special thanks to General Manager Mark for his warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

Hands down. Best steaks we have ever had. We had the 20 oz ribeye. Barrel filet and NY strip! Several sides for the table, as well as, tomato mozzarella salad and shrimp scampi for apps. The service was perfectly attentive. Not too much, just enough. Our team was Stanley and Diana. Our son graduated HS and this was the perfect way to finish our day. Thank you Carnevor Steakhouse!!

Absolutely Phenomenal! Gracious and kind Hosts to the attentive bartenders and the wait staff. This is a must go restaurant. Oh yeah the food was amazing! Can’t wait to go back again. I’m be found my new steakhouse.

My wife and I had another wonderful experience at Carnevor this past Friday evening. Steaks cooked to correct order, service was excellent. We request our normal waiter which for us has always made a difference. They sat us right away which was nice given we arrived early. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and they treated us to a delicious chocolate mousse cake. Very good but very rich. The lime cheesecake we ordered as well helped to offset the richness of the mousse cake. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a good evening out and waiting a delicious steak. My wife got the 10oz filet and I had the bone in filet. Always good.
