Overall I would go here for breakfast or lunch over a different diner. The portions are large enough to split in my experience and the food is good quality. Some tables are more comfortable than others as some are really tight. It does get busy but they move things along pretty quickly. I enjoyed the french toast and also the ruben. The french fries are delicious. Good service and good selection here. Clean environment too.

Burger was great! Deserts were mediocre. Cupcake was cold and cheesecake was ok.

So this review is not to attack this place but my wife and I went there this past Saturday the 11 and we order some breakfast especially we ordered a French toasts witch was really hard to cut really bad we told our server and she was really nice and she took it out of our bill that was nice even we told her that we didn’t need that but we told her that she can tell the kitchen so this kinds incident doesn’t happen again and ruined the experience for other people

The food was good; but it seemed a rush to get us in; fed and out as quickly as possible. I’m all for efficiency; but the mains games before we were even halfway through the starters so we were rushing our food. It was a nice meal; but for what it cost I’d have liked to have enjoyed and relaxed more.

Pancakes overdone. No butter brought with meal although requested. Omelette was good. Crunchy hashbrowns were good. Server started out great then went downhill. Had to ask other servers for things.

the waitress, Lexi was freaking amazing and so kind. She made the whole experience 1000% better. I truly enjoyed eating here. The food was also YUMMY. If you are visiting NYC for a few days and need a good brunch / lunch spot. This is your place!

Es un buen lugar desayuno muy típico de comda americana. Porciones muy abundantes. La fruta puede ser mejor

The Carnegie diner became our go to place while we were vacationing in New York City! Breakfast, lunch, and late night were terrific! The service was excellent and friendly. One of our favorite hosts was Taso, but everyone was terrific! Highly recommend their New York style cheesecake as the best we’ve ever had! It was so light and moist and fluffy!
