It really reminded me of the food in Israel the ingredients were so great and so much flavor everything we ordered was delicious and I can’t wait to go back and share with friends how they need to run there and experience all the tasty food and the restaurant is just so beautiful also a touch of Israel so hip and modern like your in Tel Aviv!! Looking forward to coming back soon and ordering even more

Such a great night at Carmel, it was my first time and I was not disappointed. From the food to the drinks, it couldn’t have been better. The vibe in there was great making my date all the more better. Much appreciated!

Best dinner I’ve had in LA in a long time. Everything was PERFECT and the food DELICIOUS. Highly recommend this restaurant.

From the moment we walked in the experience was amazing. The staff welcomed us with friendly vibes. The decor is lovely, one wall in particular made us feel like we were in Jaffa. The service is impeccable, friendly, just the right amount of attentiveness. The food was absolutely amazing!! We sat at the Chef's counter and we felt as though we were part of the kitchen. They welcomed us, the chef chatted and answered questions and as well made recommendations. We ordered 5 dishes total between 2 people and everything was exceptional. The flavors were amazing and unexpected. Carmel is a gem from start to finish.

Everyone on the staff were super welcoming and nice. Very hospitable! The design, ambience and vibe were incredible- well done! Food is next level: the combination of flavors is smart and creates a delicious experience with every bite. We ordered the Frena, Sweet Potato, Batata Ksbia Pasta, Grouper Shawarma, Halva mousse and Knafeh for dessert. Excellent - go there!!!

Everything about the evening at Carmel was wonderful. The historical charm of the space was magical and endearing. I love the modern take on traditional Israeli dishes. Everything was so delicious! The bread fire roasted with zaatar was out of this world! The Smokey eggplant was great with that bread! The shrimp dish was spicy and so savory and delicious! The branzino was prepared beautifully as well. We also tried the ceviche it was expertly made I loved it! We also had the chocolate mousse and knafeh for dessert and they were both incredible. I will have to go back to try the octopus and the grouper shawarma!
