Here at Carluccio's, we’ve always been true to our Italian heritage and what food really means to us. The best ingredients, from the best regions, cooked with love.

In one of the most attractive black and white row buildings on Bridge Street, the beautiful setting is perfect for diners to sit and enjoy a meal with us.

We’re open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner Monday to Sunday. Our menu caters to vegetarians/vegans and those who are following a gluten-free diet.

    Brilliant evening and excellent food Had a warm greeting on arrival. I was early, shown to our table and asked if I would like to look at the menu as I waited for friends to arrive. A waiter gave me a glass of water unprompted and took my drinks request. We opted for the Set Menu of 3 courses, excellent value for money and usual high standard of food. Our waiter Ben was polite, cheerful, friendly and very efficient We all look forward to our next visit

    Arrived after a 20 mile journey to Chester for a Carluccio’s breakfast. Upon arrival we were told that the oven was broken and it would be several hours before it would/could be working. The staff were very apologetic but we had to leave. Disappointed to say the least ! Last time the pizza oven was broken !!

    Very poor experience. Service was slow and sub standard. Food was average at best and disappointing at worst. Will not be returning.

    I have visited on a number occasions with my friend however I don’t think we will be back for a while. Menu was limited and my lasagna was not their normal standard. There was too much pasta and not much meat! Apparently ‘they have changed their supplier’ which makes me wonder if food is pre packed and not made fresh on the premises. Pity as it was always nice.

    Although a quiet Monday evening, restaurant very welcoming. Not rushed, food lovely. Have been visiting Carluccios in Chester since it opened: the 'new' bar area is such an improvement to the atmosphere. Staff have always been great. Thank you

    I arrived at confirmed that I was eligible for the discount in my email and the assistant said yes. I was shown to my table and given a menu. A waiter eventually arrived and took my order. Approximately 40 minutes later my wine arrived and I asked if my food was ready!!! It arrived about 5 minutes later. The food was lovely but I was disappointed at the waiting time. I asked for my bill but had to query it as discount had not been applied. It was soon rectified.

    Food was reasonably good. Tye place looked clean. I think the menu has been the same for many years. Hope they introduce new dishes.

    The food was expensive and lower quality than other Italian restaurants in the area. The service was bad - our order was misplaced and we were waiting an hour when it was relatively quiet with no refund on the bill.

    Fabulous tasting pizzas that are on a level to the best we have had anywhere, including Italy. But next time I make a point to the person taking our order to make sure the pizza is hot hot hot in terms of temperature.
