My husband and I are locals to the area and frequent captain eddies. This time we brought some family and friends who were visiting and everyone loved their meals. Some top items were the crab and shrimp dip, lobster pasta and frog legs.

Server was incredible. We live here and get oysters everywhere, these were by far some of the largest we have ever had. The ceaser salad dressing was great ordered it with grilled scallops for a 12.00 up charge. It had only for scallops, which was disappointing,because they were small. Mt daughters got the grilled shrimp and loved it. I got the captain’s platter. The fried oysters were awesome!They were out of Cole slaw and baked potatoes for sides. I got pickled beets and fried Zucchini,which was good….the platter was all very good until I found two very long black hairs, I have blond hair. I was done. The server took it off the bill and felt horrible. We still tipped on the bill that It would have been if she didn’t take the meal off. With this being said, we will go back.

If you’re not wanting fried and sides loaded with stuff this isn’t your place. Fresh and healthy is hard to come by. I had a Southwest salad with grouper. Grouper tasted fishy (which I’ve never experienced eating grouper before) and the dressing tasted like cheap stuff from a bottle on the shelf. Yuck.

We were a party of eight seated near the kitchen. My food arrived lukewarm and had to send it back to heat. All of our group enjoyed their meals. Service was just ok. Never asked to order more drinks with dinner.

There were seven of us for Lobster Fest. Although parking was a problem, our table was in a quiet corner. The food was delicious and the waiter attentive. Excellent meal!

Had family in from out of town and made a reservation for 12. Food was excellent, service was fast and our server, Traven was absolutely the best. We had a great evening.

Our party of 8 were seated on time to a table area of our choice. The waitress was very attentive to our guests and the food was delicious! The atmosphere was vary energetic and the entire staff was very friendly!

I had the soft shell crabs [they were over cooked] I also ordered the tomato, onion, cucumber salad, what I got was cucumbers with bottled italian dressing.

So happy to have chosen Captain Eddies to dine with out of town relatives. The 7 of us enjoyed fabulous seafood and Brittany#2 ‘s grace and humour while serving us. A great evening. Just being able to get reservations made for a relaxing start ! Thank you Captain Eddies!
