Welcome to Caprese Trattoria. We are an authentic Italian restaurant with home made mozzarellas, pastas, desserts, and more. Come to join us in a rustic, casual, but modern ambiance. Mother’s Day Caprese was not a great experience. Outside of a 9/10 decibel level, the lasagna was drowning in sauce, the duck was overcooked and the dessert portions were microscopic. Very disappointing for one of our favorites.

The OpenTable menu prices were wrong, the actual Caprese Trattoria prices were almost double. Also, there was no mention that the happy hour menu was not offered on the Mother’s Day holiday.

Very busy & extremely noisy place. The food was not nearly as good as the last time we were here. And, our waitress seemed consumed with her other tables & treated us as an afterthought. Wrong food initially brought out, drinks never refilled, no one bothered to check on how we were doing. Will not be going back anytime soon

Food was mediocre at best. Homemade pasta was blah and chicken piccata was flavorless. We were a party of 6 celebrating a CU grad. Our reservation was at 5:15 and by 6:30 were asked to leave by 2 different staff members (hostess and waitress) because they wanted to seat a party of 12. It never said anywhere on the website or on the reservation site that there is a time limit to your dining! We were not even able to finish our glasses of wine. Being asked to leave after paying for overpriced pasta dishes is beyond unacceptable and should NOT be allowed to happen. The 6 people in our party will tell everyone we know to not patronize this restaurant! Rude and unacceptable!

I had high expectations and was a little disappointed. We got the mozzarella trio as an appetizer, then ordered a toscana pizza and the house gnocchi special. The buffalo mozzarella and burrata were pretty good, but the mozzarella on the caprese salad was pretty tough. The pizza had an okay crust and there was so much cheese on it that I couldn't really taste any of the toppings. The amount of cheese also made the pizza oily. The house gnocchi was good, but not great. Honestly I prefer Parma Trattoria in Superior a lot better and the prices are a bit cheaper there. This was our first time going there so maybe we just went on an off night, but honestly I am not sure if I would go back.

Having heard so much about this place, my wife and I finally got a chance to try it out. Location and ambience are - eh... a strip mall location, modern commercial space, and spare decor doesn't cut it in my eyes for a high-end restaurant. That said, not holding it against them. Our server, Ray, was very pleasant and attentive - so much so that we left him a 30% tip. Our disappointment is largely in the menu and secondarily the food. I ordered what I believed to be linguine with salmon, shrimp, clams, mussels and scallops in a spicy red sauce (what the menu said) What I got was a large bowl of red soup containing a few linguine noodles, some chunks of salmon, a few scallops, a few shrimp, a few clams and a nice amount of mussels. The clams and mussels were in the shell (as they should be). The ingredients were good quality but it sure wasn't what I thought I was ordering. The portion size was large and mostly liquid. My wife's meal was a chicken dish with asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. The chicken was cooked appropriately and tender but the asparagus was huge, woody and far from tender. She was disappointed While the food was mostly made with quality ingredients (I'm leaving the asparagus out of it, neither of us felt that what we received was what we expected from the menu description. The cocktails were well made as well as well presented. Kudos for their calamari appetizer with the spicy marinara. Also the tastiness and texture of the bread and bruschetta brought to the table. All in all, my impression is that we caught them on a bad night or with a new chef. We went earlier than the dinner hour so the place wasn't crowded at all and the food came quickly so I know the issue wasn't the were swamped. I'm more than willing to give them another chance in the future, but I highly suggest that they update their menu with pictures - I was very much blindsided being served a soup instead of a plate full of pasta.

This has become one of our favorite places. I don't think I've ever had anything I didn't like. This time we came for happy hour and had an assortment of items. The avocado bruschetta is always a favorite and we tried the steak appetizer for the first and and it was delicious. Lemondrop martinis are always good. This is the first time we've had dessert and the chocolate mousse and creme brulee were both delicious.

The hostess greeted us as soon as we walk through the door. Set my wife and I had at a table quickly. The server seemed like he’s in a bit of a hurry, but he was very attentive. Food was very good. No one confirmed that it was our anniversary but that’s OK. We will be back again.

We had 15 people for a special dinner and the staff was just exceptional! Drink orders first, food, dessert, and even separate checks. The food was delicious as always but I was impressed at how well they handled the large group.

The food was delicious. My wife is very particular about bolognese and her pappardelle bolognese was delicious. I had the spaghetti carbonara and it was also delicious. The bread and pesto they serve while you are waiting for your dinner was very good and flavorful. My wife and I said this place deserves to be recognized on a show such as Guy Fieri’s Triple D.

We like this restaurant food, service, good wine selection. We like to sit along the back wall. Really should consider new cushions and upholstery in this section.

This was a great restaurant for lunch with a newfound cousin. The menu items made me drool and I was very sorry I’m not ever hungry enough to order a big lunch. I did take half of what I ordered home with me and had it for dinner last night. We live about 45 minutes away from this restaurant, but I have only just discovered it. Next time I need to go to Longmont for anything, I will make sure I make time for a meal at Caprese Trattoria!

We love Caprese Trattoria and celebrated a birthday there. As always the food and service were terrific. We're older and the noise level is a bit hard for us, but clearly this restaurant is very successful and its patrons are very happy.

The trout is fabulous. The filet was not that great - stick to the tradtional? Our server also does the bar on Fridays - he was great! Picked a fabulous white wine for the trout. The bread is addictive. This is our favorite Italian in Longmont.

I made the mistake of trying to get a last-minute Valentines Day reservation. My punishment was eating at this place. The food was mediocre at best, and that was made worse by being packed into a dining room that operated like the puppy mill of the restaurant world. It left me feeling like I had just done something shameful. I will say our server was personable and attentive. Outside of V day, you may have a better experience.

We went there for Valentine's Day. Thank goodness we had reservations because when we arrived people were being told there was an hour and a half wait! The menu was prix fixe with 4 appetizers, 4 mains, and 2 desserts available as choices. We were seated fairly quickly (the restaurant was packed) and our waitress (April) appeared immediately. She was bubbly, personable, and fun! She quickly took our drink choices and helped explain a few things on the menu. Each course arrived quickly, which was amazing considering how full the restaurant was) and each course was amazing. Authentic Italian food that was full of flavors and good-sized portions. This was our first visit and now we are curious about their regular menu. We will return!

Food is usually good when we've been previously, was very disappointed to walk into an overpriced prefixe menu (especially when I had called prior to making the reservation an was told that there wouldn't be a prefix menu). The entrees all sounded decent enough and was a well rounded menu (chicken, steak, fish, lobster, vegetarian) with option of soup or salad and two deserts for $57/person. What was disappointing is having dietary problems and not being able to eat most of the prefix menu is severely problematic. Our server was super sweet and was the best at making our night better. Drinks were good. The restaurant was excessively loud. Overall rating 3/5. I love this place for general every day dining but will not be doing any holidays here in the future.

Three friends and I had reservations for 6 pm. I was seated then. We ordered drinks when our friendly waitress came by. We reviewed the menu and ordered our meals. We were hungry and ate them when they arrived. When the last person finished her meal, the young manager came over and said that we'd been there for 1 & 1/2 hours. That reservations are only for 1 & 1/4 hours. She asked us to leave. She said people were waiting for tables. My friends and I were blown away. We had quietly visited during our time there. We enjoyed our waitress and felt that she enjoyed us. (We figured that we were asked to leave as we had only purchased one drink each and had declined more). We received our bills a few minutes later. We gave the waitress our charge cards and she returned a few minutes later. We gathered our belongings and stood to leave the table ~ looked at my watch and it was 6:06 pm. We had been at the table for barely an hour, when the woman had came over and asked us to leave. As exiting, I passed the manager (guessing that's who she was) at the hostess desk. (I had greeted her and the hostess, or 'hostess in training', when I arrived). I said to her that the reservation was for 6 pm and here it is, 6:06 pm and we're leaving. I said that we weren't at the table for 1 1/2 hours. She said that's nice. I said that we were there for barely an hour. She again said that's nice. She then turned away, leaned in to the young hostess (who was at the desk also) and made a comment. I have been going there fairly regularly with different friends over the past few years. I won't be going again. Want to say though, generally, the prior managers, wait staff and service have been exceptionally good.

Took a good friend out for his birthday. Loved the fact that the noise level was good, had no problem hearing my hubby and his friend (who are both hard of hearing and struggle with background noise). The cannelloni was fantastic as always!

Food was great - had the rigatoni and friend had chicken piccata. Staff was friendly and we enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant.

Jason, our waiter, was amazing and right on top of everything. Personable and knowledgeable. An invited friend, who had never been to Caprese Trattoria before, can't wait to go back! We dined on the Caesar Salad and Eggplant Parm. Just delicious.
