Le lieu ajoute parfois de la magie au fabuleux repas et au superbe vin que l'on partage entre amis. C'est le cas du Canyon Kitchen, niché au pied de la plus grande paroi de granite sur la côte est de la Sapphire Valley. Le chef Adam Hayes réalise sa cuisine du sud à partir de produits locaux et de sélections biologiques provenant des propres jardins communautaires de l'établissement et de la région environnante. Le menu de plusieurs services à prix fixe change régulièrement, parfois quotidiennement, et est mis en valeur grâce à une carte des vins composée de produits issus de l'agriculture biologique ainsi que de pratiques durables et biodynamiques. Des frais de service de 18 % sont ajoutés automatiquement. Des frais de 30 USD de « droit de bouchon » seront facturés pour les bouteilles d'une contenance allant jusqu'à 750ml. Un montant supplémentaire de 30 USD sera facturé pour chaque 750ml supplémentaire.

We arrived 1 hour early (I recommend this) and sat outside and Richard brought us a glass of wine and explained the location and food. This was the start of a great evening. The food was incredible, our waitress Caroline was excellent and Charles the manager stopped by to make sure we were pleased. I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed this restaurant. Definitely going back.

Beautiful! Perfect Mother’s Day. Food was great. Robbie is an amazing host. Cocktails were fantastic. And of course one of the most beautiful places in the country.

Excellent in every way. The view of the mountains, valley and gorgeous flowers was beyond expectations. A truly lovely and memorable experience, a must every time we visit the Cashiers, Sapphire Valley area.

There is no better place to have fabulous food, great attentive service and a beautiful view of the mountains than at Canyon Kitchen. Pricey, but well worth it!

Loved our dinner. The only glitch was initially after being seated it took them a long time to take a drink order. The restaurant wasn’t super busy but they were more attentive to their larger parties. We had to reach out to ask someone to come over. After that our service improved and we had a fabulous meal and lovely dining experience.

We have dined at Canyon Kitchen many times and always enjoy the wonderful ambience and food. However, one of our party of 4 ordered the chicken entree. It was so tough that he could not eat it. When we told our server she wanted to check with the manager. She came back and said that since the $30 chicken dish was not edible they would comp him a $3 scoop of ice cream. After talking with her more she checked with her manager again and said they would remove the chicken dish from our bill. The shrimp and pasta dish was very good. The other 3 at the table ordered it and enjoyed it. Also, not a fan of the tip and EXTRA tip portion of the bill. We are very generous tippers and think it is rude to suggest EXTRA.

Quail appetizer was outstanding! Duck breast delicious, the puree that it sat on was not warm, chicken entree was good! Disappointed in the trout, no flavor, and the things it was served over were not warm either.

The food and service continue to be one of the best near Cashiers, NC. The ambience and views are excellent. I suggest you get there early and enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail on the lawn overlooking the mountain views.

This is hands down, our favorite restaurant in the area. Canyon Kitchen has it ALL. Views, ambiance. drinks, food and fabulous desserts. The menu offerings are upscale recognizable staples with unexpected twists. So delicious! Attentive service is hard to find these days- but not at Canyon Kitchen- our server was 5 star. Go early and have a drink in their outdoor seating area and take in the gorgeous view. The privacy and massive rock face will make you think you’re in Yosemite.

We took visitors here to enjoy the view. I made a reservation about 3 weeks ahead and responded to all reminders sent. We checked in early as requested and we're told someone would come get us when our table was ready. We were sitting outside at least 30 minutes past our reservation time when the manager came by to check on our drinks. We asked him to check our reservation but we never saw him again. My husband finally went inside and they seated us immediately. Not a great start to the meal. I found out that our wine was $25 per glass, which is ridiculous as it wasn't anything special. Next time we will come back for cocktails before going to dinner elsewhere.

Everything was wonderful. I had lamb and my hubby had filet minion. Well except there was this little baby hummingbird that was high inside the restaurant. The poor thing couldn’t figure how to get out of this beautiful OPEN restaurant! I hope after we all leave it finds its way out. All the staff was fantastic.

From the moment our party of four arrived the total experience was wonderful. We enjoyed delicious cocktails in the garden, before our scrumptious dinner. The attention received from Jerrod and all the staff was perfect. We are definitely coming back!

Woefully short of seated waiting space for early arrivals with dinner reservations, especially considering they don’t want to seat you before your reservation time in order to stagger seating in consideration of the kitchen service time. Seems contrary to the policy our server told us that the kitchen needed our appetizer course order at the same time as our entree order “to correctly plan the timing between courses. Good in theory, but since we actually had over a 45 minute ticket time between our finishing our appetizer course and entree delivery time (we had a 5:30 reservation, so we were certainly not part of the mid-evening rush), the “timing” requirement for both courses ordered at the same time was a complete failure. Food quality was adequate for the price, but seriously, if you’re going to serve three asparagus stalks averaging 3/4” in diameter for the only accompanying side to a $48 filet (not prime), they should at least be peeled. The “manager” check after our completed meal (would have been much more beneficial well before then - would also been nice if the “manager - not sure if he was) was nice,but far too late to have any impact. Managers table visits should occur during dinner courses, not after dinner and dessert completion. Overall, the location/visual venue is wonderful, and worth the 1 1/2 hour drive we made to dine. But please go for the location and view, not the exceptional “total dining experience” one should expect for the overall spend.

A must see and do night out - to experience a world class venue with the highest level of hospitality fitting the clientele and expectations, which are met and exceeded with top-level professional service and food and drink. Gorgeous outside and inside, and unmatched location in America - this is a hidden gem that the folks of the plateau get to enjoy plus the visitors who can find their way and are treated more like family than guests.

Knowing it’s the beginning of the season and I assume that they are short staffed, I am not giving up on them yet. However, the service was almost nonexistent. There were three of us and our food came out one at a time. I had lamb and it was just ok, my friend had lamb and it came out soooo raw, it was gross. Our other guest got his seafood stew 30 minutes after we were served, despite flagging down two people to check on it. The broccoli and cauliflower side dish was not good. The bread service was great. Hopefully, the next time I go will warrant a positive review.

We celebrated our engagement at Canyon Kitchen and had no regrets! The staff made us feel incredibly celebrated with a great table and glasses of champagne and service that was amazing but I’m sure was equal across the other tables as well. Definitely recommending to anyone that visits the area!

A definite repeat in the bear future. The setting was gorgeous and the food quality from taste to presentation was phenomenal. The staff was excellent Robie was very welcoming and everyone took great care of us for our annivesary! I highly recommend!

Had a good dinner. The new 2024 menu needs tweaking. Need some form of potato if you’re going to have a filet on the menu. The spatzle seems out of place with the other new items on the menu. Ambiance makes it worthwhile, but the food did not wow us for the price point.

We really enjoyed the majestic setting and the cocktails we had outside before our dinner. We ordered a pea starter that we expected to be a pea salad based on the description and it was a fried rice ball with a few peas inside and a not great dipping sauce. The waitress heavily pushed/recommendation the duck (something I never order) and I went based off her recommendation. All I can say is they must be trying to get rid of the duck. It was cooked well but completely lacked flavor and seasoning as did the sweet potato puree underneath. Bland as can be. My husband ordered the filet ($50) and it was cooked to perfection and had a lovely bacon onion jam on top. Mixed opinions and not sure it was worth the expense.

When the waiter brought our Osborn bucolic was out standing. The burned piti points were charged the smell of burnt bread was off putting.I removed to a napkin. The young man came to the table to explain they were done perfectly. They were charged and smoking a tad. I over all enjoyed. Service spot on friendly….

This was our first visit to Canyon Kitchen, and everything about it was exceptional. First (and most important) impression came with our server, Yeu. She was a darling - so very attentive and sweet to us! What a difference that can make to any meal! The restaurant itself is beautifully rustic, with a big warm crackling stone fireplace at the front. Our food was delicious - both of us had the Osso Bucco with a delicious tiki masala sauce and green pea risotto. I had to take half of it home - big generous servings! A nice wine complemented the entire evening. We’ll be back!

This is our 3rd visit to Canyon Kitchen. The restaurant is in a beautiful setting! The views out back are fantastic and picture worthy! I wish the menu was a bit more expansive. The bread service was amazing. Our server was excellent! The atmosphere is perfect.

Always a pleasure to eat at Canyon Kitchen a few times when we are in Sapphire. Chef Ed has new things on the menu and the fried pork wings rocked. Service pleasant and professional as always.
