Didn’t have many expectations, I was just happy to sit with a view of the ocean. The sushi was pretty good. And the drinks too. A little on the pricey side but it was probably all of the drinks! :-)

We had a reservation but were still seated at the far north end of the restaurant where there isn’t enough wind protection. Asked to move but there was nothing else available. We had dinner in a frigid wind tunnel. And that wasn’t even the worst part. The food took forever to come out and was not worth the wait. The sushi was bland with undercooked rice. We just wanted to leave. Paid the tab as soon as they took the plates away. Won’t be back.

It was a bad experience. Sushi took a ridiculously long time and came out after the two hamburgers we had ordered, which should not happen. It was cold and they couldn’t get their heaters to work appropriately. Location is great but doesn’t make up for mediocre food and service. Save your money and eat somewhere else.

Haven’t been since it opened. Just not very great food, can get better sushi at Ralph’s. The sushi “burrito” is just an uncut roll and not an actual sushi burrito, but charge more than the rolls… Oysters weren’t great either. Fine if you’re in a pinch and just want to grab food quickly at the park but don’t go out of your way.

First time there. Loved it. Wish the rolls were a bit bigger, but overall it’s a great sushi spot on the beach.

Food was delicious, and the staff was attentive. Plenty of workers to handle the relatively large crowd. We sat outside and awesome heaters were placed throughout the upper patio that kept everyone very comfortable. I would recommend Cannonball to anyone who would like to have an outdoor seat so as to enjoy the beautiful ocean view and delicious food.

I ordered fish tacos with no pico, they gave me fish tacos with just fish and sauce, forgot the cabbage. I told the waiter and he just brought me cabbage on the side instead of fixing the issue completely. Why pay for a certain meal if I have to be the one putting it together to eat it ? I got calamari as an appetizer, half was cold. Definitely could have been a better experience, I don’t think I’d go here again for the price of the food, compared to the amount you get is not worth it at all.

As always our dinner and the service was excellent kudos to our waitress Kianna, she was amazing, she made our dining experience exceptional. We can’t wait until our next visit to Cannonball.

Don’t get the Cannonball Burrito. So smol. It’s an overpriced specialty roll that is masqueraded as a burrito. Great views is what ya pay for. All else, mid.

Amazing view and amazing food!!! We loved miso soup, edamame, and sushi!! The service was superb! We can’t wait to go back! Reservation recommended!

The view absolutely stunning. Sushi was good. Salmon plate was served very hot and had a dry-rubbery feel to it; it tasted like it just came out of the microwave. The spicy margarita was mostly the mixer component, hardly any alcohol. The service was fair; our specific server was a little aggressive. But it is a very busy place and probably most of the servers feel hurried. Don't go w/out a reservation.

Lounge waiting area is very nice! Love the photo ops and firepits. Server was extremely friendly but it did take a long time to get our drinks and appetizers.

I was a little nervous at first because we were seated it took well over 10-12 minutes for anyone to come by. I actually had to ask for a server. Once he came to our table, it was fantastic service! Josh was great and fun to chat with. The food was yummy and the espresso martinis were amazing! All in all, it was a fun place with fabulous views. We'll be back!

Ordered the specialty roll they had on menu that night as well as the tuna sensation and Serrano peppers appetizer. Tuna sensation was my favorite! Delicious & great atmosphere.

I came here for my 22nd birthday dinner with a few friends and the food was amazing! Highly recommend the calamari and tatsu roll. I was just a little disappointed because I noted that it was my birthday on the reservation, and also told the hostess who was seating us. No one seemed to acknowledge my birthday once we were seated, and the service was pretty slow. But overall still a good experience.

Your web site and FB page both list a M-F happy hour 4-6PM (hasn't been a HH in years there) plus prices that are incorrect, and items (baja style sashimi) that you were not serving. All this makes for a confusing disappointing experience.+ probably won't be back, and I'm local.
