The food was very good overall. I ordered a martini with a lemon twist and it arrived with an olive. When I told the waiter that I ordered my drink with a lemon twist he brought me a lemon twist. Clearly the martini need to be remade and I explained that. It was finally corrected. Seems like a pretty amateur mistake and response.

We have eaten here a few times and loved it every time. Everything we’ve eaten is amazing, the staff is consistently knowledgeable and friendly, and it’s a great spot for people watching. Highly recommend the Insalata Cesarina, the dressing is actually house made, the Pacherri Alla Bolognese, and the Pollo Al Funghi; all incredibly delicious!

We dined here twice last weekend. Both times our servers were wonderful and professional. The food was delicious. The ambiance on the patio is nice and we eat there every time we visit Vegas. My only complaint is the 3% Employee Benefits Charge which goes to the Il Fornaio chain (probably to boost CEOs' salaries) and does not go to the local restaurant staff. THE FEE IS OPTIONAL so we had the waiter remove the charge. I would rather directly tip the food servers. We had 5 people in our party and the 3% additional charge on our bill was expensive. DON'T FEEL OBLIGATED TO PAY the 3% Employee Benefits charge.

First of all our server Alessandro was terrific - we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and he made it special. We love the location in the Venetian on St. Marks square and have dined here many times over the years. Only disappointment was with our entrees- the chicken was very dry and rubbery in the Tagliatelle dish and the Risotto was too mushy and lacked flavor - the carpaccio and heirloom tomato salad was wonderful - I recommend trying the restaurant if you are in Vegas at the Venetian.

Pre concert dinner. Had salmon. It was delicious. The noise in the outdoor seating was loud. If you wanted to have a conversation with someone over dinner it would be difficult. Over all experience was a plus other than the noise level. Would recommend for good food and service

My daughter and I were celebrating our birthdays. I had Branzino and she the Tagliatelle. We also had Bruschetta for an appetizer. The food was tasty and arrived hot. In prior visits, there was bread provided, which was not offered on this trip. Also, we were going to get desserts but before we could order, we were presented with scoops of gelato with lighted candles, which was a nice touch. A big suggestion I could make is that if you provide a "birthday treat", do NOT charge your customer for it. The gelato cost $18.00 plus surcharge, tax, and tip. It is tacky to provide something un-asked for, and then charge for it. The other issue is the 3% "benefits surcharge". Don't make your company appear to be a cheap employer by obviously forcing your customers to provide the benefits for your employees. Just add 50 cents to drink prices and a dollar to entree prices so you can afford to provide the benefits you want without hurting the viability of your business. It's Vegas. Everything is a bit, or a lot more expensive. No-one is going to refuse to eat there if your Branzino is $46 instead of $45. I'm sure my opinion is worth every penny you paid for it. I've eaten at Canaletto several times before and will do so happily again. The food has always been delicious and promptly brought to the table. The employees have always been very friendly and helpful with food choices. The location in St. Mark's Square is great for people-watching. Although there is background noise, it is still possible to have conversation at the table without shouting. I highly recommend eating here.

The worst hostess- mean, unfriendly- did not stay - we changed to Mercato Preceria and was delicious friendly better view, better sorroundings. Recomend it

The evening was wonderful and the service was terrific. Mao was our server and she was a very cheerful young lady. It was my boyfriend’s “65” birthday and we had a beautiful and romantic night. Delicious meal. Must try the octopus and potatoes starter, it exceeded my expectations. The pasta bolognese was also delicious and a good portion. Service was excellent.

Exceptional dining experience with truly amazing cuisine that tantalizes the taste buds. While the food is top-notch, prices are on the higher side. Nonetheless, the quality and flavor justify the cost, making it a worthwhile splurge for a special occasion.

As always, the food is delicious! The salad with arugula, barley, capers, & raisins was scrumptious, as was the pizza margherita. We always love eating here and it kicks off our stay at the Venetian. We will definitely go back.
