Camden Spit & Larder, a modern London-inspired eatery, in Downtown Sacramento on Capitol Mall. Chef Oliver Ridgeway showcases the pristine ingredients of the surrounding region with its bold design, bustling bar scene, and prime private dining facilities. Camden is comfortable yet elevated. We are located just a few blocks from the Capitol and Convention Center and just steps from the Golden 1 Center. This is the perfect place to dine pre-show or concert. It provides an air of exclusivity, behind two-way mirrors, while giving a glimpse intothe restaurant.We can seat parties of up to 20 people at one large table, 32 people at four tables of 8 guests, or a standing reception of up to 50 people.

This is one of our new favorite restaurants. We chose this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. They gave us complimentary glasses of sparkling wine and ‘Happy Anniversary’ menus. The atmosphere is upscale without being stuffy. The music and lighting were at just the right level. The service was friendly and the food was amazing. They served pop overs with butter infused with sea salt and olive oil to start. The ginger carrot soup of the day was delicious. We both enjoyed our dinners: the pappardelle pasta and scallops with gnocchi. I find most restaurants tend to under or over cook their scallops, but the ones I had were just right. The wine was great (nice full bodied, dry cab) and the desserts were wonderful. We will be back!

I really enjoyed our dining experience at this restaurant recently. The service was really good. Everyone is eager to make sure you have a great night. We had trouble finding the right wine and someone was super helpful in assisting us. Our food was good but not over the top great. I had the pasta special and added chicken. I didn’t realize by adding the chicken it would be a chicken breast on the side of the pasta. Had I known that I probably would’ve skipped adding the chicken. My husband said his steak was OK but a little dry and he didn’t care for the sauce. However, the kindness, professionalism and fun energy of the staff more than made up for it. The toffee desert was amazing. I highly recommend that. We will definitely be back.

The food and service were truly outstanding for a busy Mother's Day brunch. Our meals arrived together and were exactly the way we ordered them. The service was terrific. Our server was kind and attentive. This was our first brunch at Camden Spit and Larder. Hands-down, it was the best we've ever had.

Our meal was delicious! The menu offered a variety of plates. From yogurt and fresh fruit with organic granola to crab and avocado cakes as a first course, pastries were also served. Our meals included eggs royal, which one of us had and loved it as well as French toast with fresh fruit. We ate outside on the patio, perfect weather, great servers!
