Nice atmosphere. Over priced. Traditional breakfast came with 2 strips of bacon undercooked and 1 Turkey sausage. I’d MUCH prefer beef sausage and 3 or 4 of them. Fruit cup is underwhelming. Mostly melon. Latte is $8!

The food was good, however there was only three tables when we sat down in the restaurant and it took 50 mins from ordering to receive our mains. For the price of the food I would expect better service. Our server was training, but we didn’t see her trainer after she took our order. We asked twice if they were coming and were told ‘they are almost up’…but no explanation for the delay, and it wasn’t almost up. We had a toddler with us, so timing matters. We had to rush to eat our food and get out of there because dinner took more than 1.5 hours in a quiet restaurant and our daughter was melting down. It didn’t make sense to me unless they forgot to fire our second course, or over cooked my husband’s steak and had to cook it again? The view is amazing and the live music was lovely. I would recommend it if you are in zero rush. Still for the price, I would expect higher standards and some ownership over the delay.

My friend and I came to Callisto for a quiet lunch where we could chat and enjoy the lovely view. The food was good, the service was outstanding; however, the noise level with scraping chairs as people were seated very near us was off-putting. We could not hear each other over the loud noise. Fortunately the tables beside us only had one sitting each so we could enjoy some quiet time after they left. I also found a $4 an hour parking charge exorbitant. Guests of the hotel and restaurant should have parking free or at least subsidized as Glo does with a $5 credit to help towards parking costs. We will think twice about coming back.

Food was cold, coffee was cold, food seemed to have been sitting out for a while. We were the 12:30 seating, it felt like the food had been sitting out since the earlier seating. I also noted that the turnout was low which may have contributed to the “tired” food. I’m not sure why it was so hard to get hot coffee. We mentioned it to the server, she said she would top us up to warm the coffee, the top up was cold too.

The view is lovely, and the décor bright and modern. The service was unusual: the server repeatedly asking us to upgrade or add on and monitoring us too frequently. As a result, the server and I miscommunicated and my meal was not what I thought I ordered. The food was so-so, some good, some acceptable, and some lackluster. The meal was expensive for a so called casual restaurant and basic menu. Plus we had to pay $8 for parking. We can get much tastier meals, for a much lower price, with interesting menus, smoother service, and free parking on Millstream and Goldstream.
