We were visiting the area and wanted to try BBQ. The ribs are good, the house salad was good and tasted very fresh. The rest of it was just ok. My daughter had the burger, and it was nothing special, looked like a frozen patty to me. I had a special with ribs, brisket and pulled pork. The ribs were good, very flavorful and falling off the bone. The brisket was not hot and very fatty, not much meat at all. The pork was also cold and dry. The beer was good and pair it with the ribs and salad, and you will be happy. We also liked our table with the big window where we could watch the world go by.

We totally enjoyed our meal! My husband and I had the prime rib meals and it was THE best Prime rib I have ever eaten! Thank you Calhoun’s! when in Gatlinburg do not miss this wonderful restaurant!

We were seated in bar area, so a little noisy. We had great service. Food was good ad arrived to table promptly.

Food was good, very short staffed. Waited a long time to pay and ended up leaving cash because the waiter was taking so long returning.

Average BBQ, Typical tourist town prices. I will try someplace else if I'm ever back in Gatlinburg/Pigeon forge

Food was delicious. My girl had the cod and it was delicious and flaky. She swapped her chips for the Mac and cheese. Great call because they were delicious. I had the half rack of ribs. They were smoked and wet. I prefer them super tender to the point in which they fall off the bone. These were tougher but still delicious. Ambiance, rustic setting. Billy Joe was very attentive and helpful with the recommendations plus couple of places to check out afterwards.

I hadn’t been to Calhouns in several years so I surprised there has definitely been a reduction in the quality of their signature Babyback ribs. Very thin and very dry meat. One of our party ordered brisket and received a very fatty piece. When she requested a replacement the waiter got the manager, who said they prided themselves in fatty brisket. Eventually she did receive a leaner portion. Prices were good but I don’t care to pay a little more for quality.

Amazing experience! Try the Ale steak. The Worcestershire butter is the best! Service was excellent! Will definitely be back.
