Went for the Sri Lankan Curry night and it was very good. Food was really tasty and plenty for the 2 of us although we did finish with a dessert from the normal menu. Staff were all attentive. 1 suggestion would be to put a jug of water on the table rather than just filling the glasses when requested. Minor point but would make the difference. We will definitely be back as the setting is so lovely.

Wonderful meal served by knowledgeable, attentive, welcoming staff. We will be back again! If we’re splitting hairs, the room layout was a bit strange, table layed facing the fire escape and wall, but no so much it was off putting. Just noticeably strange. The food was wonderful and the accommodations made for my vegetarian partner were perfect!

We had a wonderful evening. The food was superb, and the staff couldn’t do enough for us all. We will definitely be back’

This was my third visit for the curry night and I was so disappointed. The flavours just weren't there this time. The pork curry was full of fat and the lamb just tasted of chilli- no depth.

Booking for 2 people at 5:00pm. What they didn’t tell me was that the chef didn’t arrive until 5:00. Waiting 45 mins for a starter. No explaination. Not one person asked if wanted further drinks. I had to go to the bar to ask for water. We were the only people in the restaurant. Food was fine. But whole experience was disappointing. Then they added a 10% service charge.

The dining area had the most incredible views and the outside seating would be amazing on a warm day. Inside the furniture and decor is dated and needs a face-lift. Service by all members of staff was excellent. They were polite, passionate about their work and helpful. Unfortunately the chef had a problem with the food the night we were there and our dinner wasn't satisfactorily cooked.

The curries lacked taste and spice especially the chicken and fish curry Loved the chickpea curry Rice was delicious Perfect amount of food for 2 people Would go again but husband would bring his little pot of chilli flakes
