Can’t actually rate the food, as we never ended up eating here. My colleagues and I came here for breakfast before a conference that we were attending in the Sheraton. We made the reservation for an hour before we had to be in the conference ha, thinking that would be enough time. The waiter was prompt at the beginning and took orders for beverages, then came back to take orders for food about 40 minutes before we had to be in the conference area. Three people were ordering food, and we were told it would not come in time, as it would be at least half an hour. They were not ordering elaborate breakfasts; e.g. the orders were things like avocado toast, no extras or modifications. The restaurant was not busy. We couldn’t understand why it would take at least half an hour to prepare three simple breakfasts. The two colleagues who ordered lattes paid for those (said they were average), and they hoped that those would fill them until the break, where there would be catered snacks from the Sheraton. Our bad for not being upfront about our timeframe and ordering food at the same time as drinks, but we really didn’t think we needed to do that with a full hour of time.

They booked us for 11, once we got there on time, we were told they will close at 11:30 This should have been showing on their reservation It was such a waste of time and left

We booked here because the online menu said there was breakfast buffet. When we arrived there was no buffet at all, just expensive items a la carte. So we left without ordering and went to the Hyatt.

Went for dine out. Meal was tasty. Sweet potato coconut cream soup was filling and the gnocchi was actually filled with spinach and cheese (although small) with the soup and a dessert it was a nice filling lunch. Dessert seemed to be premade but for the value of dine out not too concerned

Came for Dine Out Vancouver. Took 20 mins for appies to arrive, and an hour for mains. The food was good for the most part (don’t get the gnocchi) but I just don’t feel like it’s a good value for the price point. Brightly lit on a Friday night, a little echoey and loud, sparsley staffed…a solid meh.

We were so satisfied with this Christmas Day buffet 👏🏻 I ve booked this place last minute not knowing what to expect but we were extremely happy with the variety of food they had for this Christmas day buffet ..🤩 specially my Irish husband who loves good turkey dinner.. The service was so good and attentive ..very nice Christmas atmosphere , a lot of decorations and not many people at 230 pm They even gave our 2 year old son little present which was super sweet - thank you 🥰 We are definitely coming back next year☺️

Mushroom soup was not very good - needs a lot more seasoning. And even though I asked for crisp fries - they were not. Could be a great restaurant if food was better.

I was frankly surprised at the austere feeling of Cafe 1. I was expecting more. It was my first time staying at this hotel and the Sheraton has a good name, but this breakfast spread felt barely above a 3 star hotel. That's the reason I only gave it a 3 star rating.

** Hidden Gem! Great place for lunch when you are downtown! We shared the seared Ahi Tuna, caesar salad, Artic Char and for dessert the cheesecake. All were amazing and our server was great too! Located in the Lobby of the Sheraton Wall Centre on Burrard @ Nelson. Definitely will be back again!

No A La Carte, only buffet. (I usually do A La Carte) Buffet quality surprising with dried out scrambled eggs and grease saturated bacon. Unappetizing. Staff were very attentive and did an awesome job, as always. :-)

Perfectly okay experience. Didn’t notice our special request on our reservation, or that we had marked it as a special occasion. The food was fine. The ambience was a bit stark but I think it felt more so because of how quiet it was, so that can be a good thing if you want somewhere to chat. They did have a pianist later than evening after we left. Had to chase someone down for the bill.

In this case, our reservation did not work. When we arrived we were told there is no space. We wanted to sit outside. The chef was embarrassed and offered us a glass wine while waiting. The whole situation was a bit strange: we came around 5pm and wanted just a drink, were told all tables were reserved for dinner. So we reserved on Opentable for 7:15pm. When we arrived our reservation was not honored. Half a hour later we were given a table, and oh wonder, at all the other tables the people were consuming drinks. We were the only 'diners'?! After this rather unpleasant experience, we received a very good service, and exceptional good quality of food - which elevated the whole experience to 4-stars.

We chose this restaurant for brunch, but brunch stopped at 11:30. We arrived at 12:30 .We had a burger and a chicken sandwich, water to drink and the bill was over $65! Not worth the price of the food. Maybe it was expensive because it is attached to the Sheridan Hotel, and tourist might pay the price. We will not be going back

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Cafe One. The food was all very tasty and most important to us, we weren't rushed between courses. We were extremely fortunate to have Jessica serving us. She is simply the most professional, efficient and personable servers that we have had in a very long time. The live entertainment was and added and unexpected bonus.

Visiting from out of town. Food was decent however fish and chips did not taste good. My daughter could not take bites after her first bite. Kids size pasta was good portion and tasted pretty good. Steak was ok. Best part my daughter said was the cheesecake from the dessert menu. She wanted to go back for it’s cheesecake 😃

While the ambience was quite nice, it was a little chilly and a bit too open. The food was okay but the halibut was rather bland and a bit tough. When someone asked for salt and pepper we got little packages instead of shakers.

The quality of the food was surprisingly good. From my experience most hotel diningrooms are not outstanding but yours was really, really good. The service was definitely outstanding. The whole ambience a pleasant surprise as well.

Overpriced for poor quality food. Meat was watery dry, dumpings were bland. Waited 15-20 minutes for a new drink after my glass was empty. Restaurant was not busy but service was very slow. Not a good experience. Do not recommend.

We had the Christmas buffet on Christmas Day at Cafe One. Excellent value and good service. It was not crazy busy and we felt we could have a quiet, leisurely dinner. The waitress did not come to our table for some time although there was a hostess who sat us and brought a complimentary cocktail that was interesting. And did not ask us about wine or another drink that would have replaced our cocktail. We had someone bring us water immediately and no one talked to us about the buffet-where it was, things to know, etc. After our first course was almost done and no one attending to us-we just walked over and asked and the service was excellent from then on out. Great seafood and a fine assortment of cheeses and other items that were excellent and special. The Mains were also very good and had great variety. Too full for dessert, but my husband enjoyed the bread pudding and squares selection. All around, a lovely dining experience, with a quiet ambiance, and great value.
