Café Momentum est un restaurant à but non-lucratif qui aide les mineurs délinquants à se réinsérer dans la société en leur offrant un stage rémunéré. . Les jeunes sont remis en liberté en suivant un programme dans ce milieu protégé de Café Momentum. Ce programme enseigne des compétences essentielles qui permettent aux jeunes de réintégrer la société dans un environnement professionnel sûr tout en leur conférant des responsabilités. En participant à notre programme, les jeunes découvrent tous les aspects des métiers de la restauration, du service aux tables à la plonge, tout en travaillant avec des chefs qui leur font profiter de leur expérience. Le stage rémunéré leur donne la possibilité d'exercer et de pratiquer leurs nouvelles compétences tout en continuant à développer leur leadership et leurs compétences sociales, professionnelles tout aussi longtemps qu'ils souhaitent rester dans l’environnement de Momentum Café. En outre, Café Momentum travaille avec le ministère de la Justice pour mineurs du comté de Dallas pour soutenir les jeunes considérés comme ayant le plus grand risque d'incarcération..

Momentum Cafe was the mark of excellent service. My parents and I received attentiveness and attention from both the waiters and waitresses who served us, as well as the chef and other staff at the restaurant. Additionally, the food was impeccable. We had the market fish, apple cider braised pork + pimento cheese croquettes, strawberry spinach salad, and smoked fried chicken. Each dish was flavorful, perfect in portion size, and reasonably priced for all that we got and how delicious it all was. Speaking of price--knowing that our dollars were going to a mission and program that we deeply believe in and is doing meaningful work made the experience that much better. Needless to say, try Momentum Cafe if you haven't yet. You won't be disappointed. And if you have been before...keep going!

We brought some friends to experience Cafe Momentum and they enjoyed it. Our server was warm and communicative, and shared a little of his story. The food was wonderful, (we had the bread basket, salad, the snapper, and the fried chicken)and we especially loved the sorbet...will be back for more of it!

One of the best meals I’ve ever had, from the appetizer to dessert and coffee. Ryan served us with professionalism and a big smile. His appreciation for this opportunity was evident, and it made our experience here so pleasant I can’t wait to be back!

Great food, great mission - without compromise of dining experience. Yes, all the wait staff are in training but supervised by expert, knowledgeable staff. Amazing. Thank you!!

My party and I had a great experience at Cafe Momentum. Every item we ordered was fresh and flavorful. The bread basket had a great variety, the cauliflower elote was a tasty twist on one of my favorite dishes, and the noodles in my mushroom stroganoff were clearly fresh made at the restaurant. The alcohol selection had something for everyone in my party, including a sour beer for me (which tends to be harder to find). The staff were all super helpful and kind. Our servers were friendly and had great recommendations. Everyone was professional and seemed like they took a lot of pride in their work. It would have been a great dining experience in general, but knowing it helps at risk teens and young adults learn skills to give them a better future was an added bonus to make the experience all the more special. If we return to Dallas, we will definitely be dining at Cafe Momentum again!

What a refreshing venue for dinner!! Service was exceptional and everyone was down to earth, hospitable and friendly. We will be going back and bringing friends with us!!

What a spectacular dining experience! The farm-to-table, organic, and locally-sourced food is some of the best I’ve ever had. The mission of this restaurant, giving children ages 15-19 a second chance while serving patrons and attending their 1-year program, is special. I am so thankful we stumbled upon this restaurant. We will certainly be back!
