The weekend gets busy, but weekdays are pretty good especially in the morning (opens at 10). Parking can get difficult but that's Venice beach. Service is generally good and not hurried. Baked goods are between $6 -10, brunch items $17-25. Dinner is $25-45. It's got a great casual vibe and definitely a healthy crowd. And the food is pretty good overall. Scrambled tofu breakfast is excellent.

Appetizers came after meals arrived. For 3 of us, ordering and getting our food took 45 min and after we finished, took 15 min to get the check... in total we were there for 2 hours! But...the food is fantastic. Definitely recommend the bruschetta appetizer... but demand it comes first!

I love the Cafe Gratitude location in Larchmont. I was excited to visit a new location. This location was so noisy, our server was rude to us, and it was a disappointing experience.

I do really enjoy dining here. 😃 I tried the ‘I Am Great’ this time around, and it was so good I had to order one to go! Nice clean, fresh, and open atmosphere.

Great place for yummy vegan food. I had the mushroom crunchy wrap with smashed potatoes. Very filling. Frankly, can be shared by 2 people! A new favorite!

I’ve loved every dish here so far and everyone I bring loves it too. I never feel rushed at any time (even when they’re clearly closing). Great chill vibe with exceptional vegan food.

this is one of my favorite restaurants in LA everything is really fresh and super flavorful and everyone who works there is really nice! I have celiac disease and a soy allergy and I let my waiter know and he totally took care of me and doublecheck the ingredients on everything! highly recommend the walnut cookie with ice cream it comes in a skillet and it's really warm and gooey and very incredible

The food at cafe gratitude is consistently delicious for both vegans and omnivores and for that I’m grateful. the service was adequate, but sort of slow and not particularly great, and the ambience could be a little more appealing inside.

I heard about this restaurant from a podcast and had a business trip near the Venice location. I was so pleased to make the trip. I had a lovely meal and it was very delicious. I will go back in a few days before I need to return home. I am so glad I went.

While the atmosphere at Cafe Gratitude was pleasant, our dining experience was somewhat marred by an uncomfortable seating arrangement. Despite being a party of two, we were given a two-seating table while other parties of two were seated at larger, four-seat tables. This discrepancy led us to question whether the hostess was selectively assigning seating based on race. Overall, the food was decent, but the seating situation left a sour taste in our mouths.

Cafe Gratitude has become my go-to for everything from casual meals to business meetings to celebrating my birthday after dancing on the beach! The food is wonderful and creative and the service is attentive. I always feel good after I've eaten at Cafe Gratitude!

Food was great (and I rarely say that). Portion sizes too small for the cost. Service was minimal. Overall recommend but wouldn’t go often since it’s really overpriced.

I revisited Café Gratitude after four years with a friend who had never been. While my plantain bowl wasn't a hit for me, my friend enjoyed his meal. Despite the dish disappointment, the overall experience was beautiful the server was excellent, and the ambience was wonderful. I'll definitely return, but I'll steer clear of the plantain bowl next time.

Love coming back to Cafe Gratitude every time we visit LA. The corn ribs, breakfast burrito, the smoothies are all so sumptuous! This one was such a peaceful and pleasant location by the beach. I wish we had more time in LA to enjoy this again.

Everything was wonderful, and I wanted to love every bite, but unfortunately I was disappointed by the avocado toast (“Peaceful”). The bread was hard (stale or just over-toasted and sitting out too long before serving?) and the mash was pretty bland. I had my hopes up for something more elevated at Cafe Gratitude. Everything else was wonderful, particularly the presentation and plating; and the dining room’s ambience.

We love dining at your place every time. Food is always great and service is very friendly! I would have appreciated the starter to be served faster with more time to pass until the entree arrived. Also air conditioning was quite cold. Overall still my favorite place to go!

This was the first time I was not pleased with my overall experience . There was a dog loudly barking by the front door when we entered. No one cared to close the door. The food was cold/ soggy. This time service was very slow with only a few patrons in the restaurant. Wait staff very kind.

So I was excited to try this place with a friend who is a vegan. The food was okay but overpriced, and the restaurant was short-staffed. I know that's the norm these days with a lack of staff, and it's Venice so the prices are high. The bathrooms needed a code, which is never a good sign, even in Venice. And you had to ask twice for a few things, and no one cleared away the starters before they brought the entrees, but again, I suspect that might be the new normal. The food was okay, but nothing more than okay. As an example, I had the kimchee, which was some kind of pickled red cabbage, but nothing that I would identify remotely as kimchee. The main issue is that this place bills itself as something special, Cafe Gratitude, with dishes labelled as "I am loving" or "I am humble". Fair enough, but at this place, it was a gimmick. Which is fine, every restaurant needs a hook, and I guess that's theirs. I brought our vegan friend here as a treat (the reservation was under my name), and wanted to pay for the bill. Gave my card to the server. My friend wanted to pay instead, and even though I insisted, the server took his card over my objections, and after I had already given her my card and told her to charge it. My guest makes a fraction of what I do, and will have to skimp till the next payday to make up for this extravagance in his budget. So while I am thankful to my friend, I also know the cost this will have on him. That put a damper on things.
