With roots tracing back to the 1970s, The Chalkboard brings its modern bistro-style concept to Oklahoma City, offering American fare and artisanal cocktails. Don't miss the chance to savor our legendary Beef Wellington, prepared according to the original recipe that has stood the test of time.

The Chalkboard is located in Oklahoma City's Midtown District, open 365 days a year. Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. We can accommodate most dietary needs. All guests of The Chalkboard can take advantage of complimentary valet-service at the hotel entrance or self-parking in the Ambassador Hotel parking lot.

The actual restaurant is NOT open yet. It is advertised as "The Chalkboard," however, they are currently renovating the former Cuvee space so the Chalkboard is located in the O Bar space, which is not exactly appealing for a restaurant. I've been to The Chalkboard in Tulsa and it's a terrific restaurant, so looking forward to when the real Chalkboard opens in the proper space, however, until that time, it would be proper for the restaurant to not advertise itself and take reservations on Open Table for this alternative location.

We enjoyed the final seating at Cafe Cuvée as it transitions to “The Chalkboard” in early May. We’ve loved Cafe Cuvée for many years, and it moves forward under the same restaurant group, so we are hopeful that a similar experience awaits us in the future. Au revoir until then!

I was charmed by the elegant surroundings. Our servers were courteous and professional. The kitchen was prompt. The dishes we received were just perfect. I enjoyed the tuna dish thoroughly!

Great place to take out of town gyests/business assiciates. Great for sharing special occasions and celebration meals with family and friends.

Very pleasant. Great selection for brunch to satisfy the breakfast eaters versus the lunch eaters. Will definitely go back again.

It was good, but not as good as it’s been in the past… bartender look like she should be working at Applebee’s to be nice. Her blouse didn’t fit she carried things with her hands, fingerprints were on the plates. Nobody carried a tray oysters didn’t come out with the fork. I asked for when they gave me a large fork, which didn’t work innocent people died of french fries were cold with my steak fillet that was overcooked.. Hi
