The Café Brio, located in Victoria, has been a local favorite for twenty six years, serving up a rustic, Italian inspired menu. Focusing on regional products, Café Brio led by multi awarded Chef Sam Harris selects the highest quality ingredients from local sources to be used in authentic, creative dishes.

At Café Brio, everything is prepared in house. Pasta favorites include gnocchi with roasted leeks, parmesan cream and basil purée, Spaghettini with tomato, garlic, basil, olive oil and parmigiano and also our wild mushroom risotto. From the Sea enjoy seared scallops with peroxides, delicata squash, carmelo and bacon anchovy vinaigrette or our local fish feature. Lastly the Parry Bay Lamb feature from our friends out in Metchosin is an absolute must.

The wine list is extensive with input from multiple Sommeliers on staff always excited to share their new favourite bottle in our unique and cozy dining room.

Everything was perfect for our meal from start to end. My cocktail had a really refined flavour and wasn't that expensive. We shared a salad which was the perfect amount. We ordered half portions which were very small but perfect for us. Everything was exquisitely prepared. The bartender took our order and was both professional and friendly as were the other staff who helped later. The desserts were incredible. The prices seemed very reasonable for the quality.

The new owners have carried on all the little things that made the old owners successful. Good food, great staff interaction and a wonderful place to celebrate our 37th anniversary.

Sat outside on the patio. Very nice a little road traffic noise. If the sun is out I recommend the patio. The lamb done three ways dish would be my recommendation.

Excellent night celebrating our anniversary. Really great service from our very friendly wait person. She was especially knowledgeable of the wine list. Food was wonderful! Happy with our choices.

We had a lovely experience at Cafe Brio last night. The waiter gave us a table in an alcove so my husband could hear a bit better as he suffers from hearing loss and today's restaurant's seem so noisy. The food was delicious and we like the fact that we can order half sizes so we can sample more of the menu. What really impressed us was the kind attention of the staff who could not have been more professional but friendly. They are all outstanding!

The cocktails are so thought out and delicious! All are individualized and there’s something for everyone that I haven’t seen before anywhere else. The oysters are delicious, and we also really enjoyed the land feature and scallops and pirogies! Had the best birthday dinner ever! Must try for sure!

Good food, nice ambiance. We dawdled with our first course and had to rush through dessert to make a play and the staff were kind & quick.

Such a lovely early evening spent at Cafe Brio last night. We enjoyed everything but, of particular note, the food of course!
