Cafe Amore has been serving great Mediterranean-inspired food since 1995. There's something for everyone at this popular local establishment. Pasta dishes, wood-fired pizza made with imported ingredients, paella, seafood, steaks, chicken dishes all served with a Mediterranean flare can be found here. Many items are house-made including all the sauces and dressings. There is a variety of large salads, gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options to be enjoyed. A showcase filled with desserts is always a tempting end to any meal. Fully licensed with a complete bar menu and large wine list including local and imported selections. The decor is warm and inviting with fireplaces, stone walls, booth seating.

One of our favorite Italian restaurants in the region. Just a tad disappointed in our party of 6 dinner last night. One of our party wanted to order the steak but was told they didn't have any. l had ordered a bottle of wine which our server later told me they didn't have, so we ordered another. l had ordered the chicken parmesan with a side of spaghetti and was told they didn't have spaghetti. When the bill arrived l noticed l was charged for the original bottle of wine that they didn't have which was $4 more, so l had to get this corrected. A few "minor" glitches, as l stated we love this place for it's ambiance and great food.

The calamari was a little rubbery, the pickerel was over done not moist & the rice tasted like a packaged product. The Caesar salad was good —-the food wasn’t as good as we had hoped for. We didn’t complain as we were with friends.

Our experience was fine, the food was good overall - delicious mains and appetizer. Only blip was the Ceasar salad - not good: lacked dressing. Our server was very nice. Although he seemed a bit inexperienced, he was attentive and friendly which was great.

Only complaint was it took a LONG TIME to get our main course. We were going to a show afterwards so the long wait created a bit of tension. We made it in time though as we had our bill made up and paid before we finished.

Our server I don’t know his name I should’ve asked his name he had a beard and he was tall was excellent and I own restaurant in Hamilton. Couldn’t ask for a better experience and that’s why we drive from Hamilton to come there

The food was excellent. We ordered 2 appetizers for three of us to share. Once those were eaten, the server picked up the serving dishes and the small plates leaving me holding my silverware (2 forks and a knife) in my hands until the main courses were delivered. I will not put my silverware directly on the tabletop, and my napkin was on my lap. Another of our party had all 3 pieces of silverware taken away with the appetizer plates, and then had to ask for another set once the main course arrived. Also, when we first arrived, I discovered a napkin on the floor under our table (a booth). I pushed the napkin to the outside of the table where it could easily be seen by staff. However, it was never picked up by staff the while time we were there. As I said, the food was great, but the service felt like they were "uninterested".
