Booked the superior tequila experience to celebrate my husbands birthday. Unfortunately when we arrived the restaurant had no idea about our reservation or booking at all. After waiting 25 minutes in which they couldn’t resolve to provide the experience we were forced to find another spot for dinner. Not a great experience. Reached out to the hotel directly to see what happened and still no one has responded to me.

El lugar es muy bonito, frente a la playa con la vista increíble. El mesero que nos atendió muy atento. La comida muy rica y en buenas proporciones.

El restaurante se encuentra en la terraza, en un área muy linda del hotel, sin embargo para cuando llegamos 8:30 pm, la mitad de las luces del lugar ya estaban apagadas, como si ya estuvieran a punto de cerrar, parecía que habían reservado ahí unas mesitas para los últimos comensales. Los platos fuertes los trajeron a la mesa inmediatamente después de que habían llegado las entradas, tuvimos que comerlos fríos porque no habíamos terminado con el primer tiempo. Niños corriendo entre las mesas. Muy decepcionante. En definitiva hay mejores lugares en Playa del Carmen.

This is a really nice restaurant on the beach and it is really aesthetically pleasing, but the food is not worth the price for the experience. The quick fire show on the beach was just OK. I was with a group of four and we got the buffet for $69 per person, we had much better food for a much lower price during our stay in Playa Del Carmen. Do not make a reservation for the experience.

Very well located restaurant next to the beach, excellent food, very good service. Expensive, but reasonable given the view and the food. Would recommend.

Wonderful tequila tasting paired with traditional Mexican cuisine. Our tequila guide was amazing and very knowledgeable and could answer all our questions. Some of the food was great but was not so great. The first course was served on a bed of uncooked rice which was not ideal as the uncooked rice stuck to the bottom of the fluata and had to be careful with your bites. The last course before dessert was tuna which was rather tough so perhaps it was marinated too long. Overall, it was a great experience though and I would recommend it it anyone who wants to learn more about tequila.

The view of the ocean and the music was fantastic. The calamari was chewy and not appetizing. The sweet potato purée was cold. The garlic shrimp was delicious as were the French fries.

The superior tequila tasting was fantastic! Excellent pairing of small bites. Not quite a meal, but very satisfying. The tequilas and the education on the tequila process made it a unique and memorable experience. The C grill provided a beautiful environment with a great view.

The location is perfect, we loved it. Right on the water. It is not at 5th and 8th like the map shows. Walk down 8th to the water. It’s on the left.

This is more of a very casual lunch place. I do not recommend having dinner here. You will be very disappointed. We had drinks and guacamole and left. The guacamole was oily. Very strange way to prepare guacamole. I do not recommend.

The food was amazing! We had the pork and salmon for dinner and the octopus. Every dish is made deliciously and did not disappoint. The service is outstanding and you can not beat the beach views.

Our host was fantastic, Carlos was on the ball and made sure that we were comfortable and enjoying our meal. My daughter was celebrating her birthday and he arranged a special dessert for her. A great evening overall. Definitely recommend C-Grill!

Took forever, in all aspects. had to ask for coffee 3 times. Dishes were not prepared correctly, food was poor, items were forgotten and charged for. Very disappointing
