Enjoy a fanfare of dining options, ranging from an amazing steak program, the freshest seafood selections, and classic sandwiches, appetizers, sides and lovely desserts. Join us for live jazz brunch on Saturday and Sunday starting at 11:00am for Pancake Paloozas, Southern Fried Chicken and Sticky Cinnamon Pecan Buns. We welcome our guests to host their private events with us in any of our spaces, including our 398 Club and Trumpet Room experiences.

Steak was delicious, but that was it. Service and menu available not so much. Out of Sauvignon Blanc, so we didn’t get drinks for 30 minutes. Order an appetizer, came back 20 minutes later and said they were also out of tuna tartare. While we had our menus in our hands they tried to deliver food that wasn’t ours. This happened again once we had steaks in front of us. We were even charged for the food that was mis-delivered. If you go 0-4 with service make an attempt to address the issue.

Only putting 1 star because the food was ok. Two tables that were sat significantly after us received their food way sooner than my table of two. The service was incredibly slow. We had two hour free parking and we busted that because of the crazy slow service. We were missing items we specifically asked for. The waitress also forgot one of our drinks that was still waiting at the bar and we were still charged for it. Highly upset as it was our anniversary date.

My family and I attempted to dine at C. Ellet’s for our Father’s Day dinner. Our reservations were at 6:45 and we were seated at 6:50. Unfortunately, we waited over 15 for our server to approach the table. After our order was placed, we waited over an hour for our food that never came out. My family and I watched 4 other tables that were seated after us get appetizers and entrees. We were only served drinks and that order was incorrect as well. We were extremely disappointed with the service. We expected a fine dining experience for Father’s Day and received terrible service with a lack of urgency from our server, Chad, and front house manager. The prices of the entrees should not be this high of the service is that low.

We came here to celebrate Father's Day during the 11am-3pm window featuring the live jazz duo. Our reservation was for outside patio, but they were able to move us to an inside table in the furthest corner of the restaurant. Service was exceptionally slow, the server seemed a bit unsure and unfortunately, provided inaccurate information about the dishes we ordered (small things, but noticeable). We received two different menus, one with outdated offerings but printed with today's date. The waiter did advise that the kitchen had been backed up, but he thought they were caught up...obviously they weren't. We primarily ordered brunch food (pancake palooza) and easy fare (chicken caesar salad with fries and a chicken club sandwich with fries), but the food took over an hour to arrive (we sat down around 1:40 and at 2:40, we still did not have our food. And then overall, service was just slooooow. Drink refills, dessert options, the bill all took an unnecessarily long time, especially given that by the end of our time, the restaurant had cleared out due to the baseball game. That being said, the space is nice, ambience is good (really enjoyed the jazz duo) and the bathrooms are a treat.

While the food was delicious and server was sweet, it took almost an hour and a half to get our food. Other tables were getting theirs before us even having ordered after us.

Our servers were kind and professional but the kitchen needs help. We had a 12:15 reservation, were seated at 12:30, ordered at 12:50 and food did not arrive at table until 2:14pm. TWO HOURS from reservation to receive food is completely unacceptable. The manager apologized but there were no explanations, no discounts, nothing. This was not just a problem for us but all the other tables seated around us. If they cannot accommodate a crowd due to staffing levels they should not accept reservations and/or seat people. The food was fine. The ambiance (jazz) was nice. Our servers were doing there best --but whatever issues are happening in the kitchen need to be addressed.

Terrible service! We waited for 1 hour and 25 minutes for our food to be ready. Besides the server forgot water at the beginning, it took the server too much to bring the drinks, no napkins and silverware once the appetizer was provided. Terrible service terrible experience to celebrate Father’s Day with my hisbandz

Took 30 min to be seated (even though we had a reservation) and another 2 hours to receive our food. Once received, it was just OK. Def not worth the wait….especially on Father’s Day. Also, since it took so long for our food to come, we ended up having to pay $40 for parking in the Red lot. Parking validation was not offered. Certainly not what we anticipated for our Jazz Brunch experience — the Jazz band took their break and returned and left before we did. Huge disappointment.

Food was excellent, as usual! Drawbacks…very limited menu for game day (mostly brunch items) and kitchen could STILL not keep up. (My kids were also heartbroken to not be able to order the seafood tower that we always order when there.) The waiter was totally out of his element, and not personable AT ALL! So while we waited almost 2 hours for food, we were not ONCE asked about drink refills, or even checked on, for that matter. Had reservations for the jazz brunch, but sat in the back of the restaurant away from the musicians. When the musicians weren’t playing, the music over the speakers was WAY too loud. Only redeeming thing was the food. Our 3rd visit to this restaurant…second time on game day…and never had these issues before. When you come to an establishment to spend the kind of money we spend, you expect a certain level of service. Not only did we not get that service, we were left very disappointed from the whole experience. Will never return on game day…lesson learned…which SUCKS because the restaurant is AT The Battery. Just hope we can return for an experience that will make us want to continue being patrons.
