The food was exceptional. So good, that I ate there two nights in a row while in Atlanta for a conference. One night I ate the risotto and the next the seared salmon. each were cooked to perfection and were as good as any such entres as I have ever ordered. The saute spinach side order each night was great accompaniment . I asked for the farrow with the salmon, which was excellent. I wish I lived near such a great place in my Chicago home. Pricey but really worth it.

Absolutely wonderful! Amazing cocktail of Southern Heart, appetizer of Heirloom Tomatoes and the Filet with Brussels Sprouts and Truffle Parmesan Fries was amazing!!! Great service!!

The worst dining experience I’ve had in the past several years by far. A regular day here is probably better, but they were not prepared for Mother’s Day at all. We waited over 15 minutes after being sat to even get water, and almost 30 minutes to get our drinks. We didn’t get our food until almost 50 minutes after sitting down. After ordering, they let us know what we requested (which was apart of a pre fixe menu) was not available. It was the lamb chops which is my mother’s favorite dish and why I chose this restaurant. We had to ask twice for my mother’s second drink she ordered. We waited forever to get our bill which I was told would be discounted and it wasn’t, and instead of waiting around again for it to be fixed I just accepted it. There was also a large and extremely loud party behind us that no one even attempted to quiet. Definitely was not the Mother’s Day experience I expected and I would never go back here again.

Mother's Day at By George was a successful event for my family. The food was good. The environment was nice. The live music was fantastic. It was a great place to spend the day.

The WORST experience at what was suppose to be a five star restaurant. Both Lamb Chops meals were not seasoned very well and were plated/served without the the asparagus. Once the asparagus was brought to the table basically raw with burnt grill marks. The asparagus was sent back and a few minutes later the waitress brought the same three asparagus stems back to the table. (Unsanitary) When ask for a second bread basket we were told there would be an extra charge on top of the already "OVER-PRICED MEALs". One vegan meal was requested and accommodated (Pasta and Veggie Bowl with Tomato Soup) but, there was no price adjustment for a lesser meal. The tea was not prepared full strength and looked like brown water. The coffee was not hot at all. Overall Terrible experience "Stay Away".

Really great food, variety of options for breakfast that were all well presented, and tasted great. Staff were friendly and accommodating with excellent service.

Service was not what was expected at this price point. After being seated, waiting 15 minutes before a server arrived at our table was unacceptable. Other patrons who were seated after us were being served their appetizers before we had even seen our server. Our food was delayed as it appeared that the kitchen never made it or the order never got to the kitchen as the people at the table next to us, who sat down 30 minutes after we did, had finished their meals before ours arrived. The food was okay but certainly not exceptional enough to overcome the service issues. I have been to many restaurants in Atlanta and am slightly confused about how this is the number 1 rated one in Atlanta. Maybe we went on an off night, or our server was new, but regardless of the reason, nothing about this experience will make us return. On the plus side, the door security and the valets were all very kind and pleasant.
